  1. As long as they are hidden when you gear up, you're good to go. I actually use mine for keys, etc.
  2. That blaster turned out really nice, well done!
  3. Sarah - I understand your frustration but that's not a good attitude to take on. You have done a great job and your scout looks great. Why not send a PM to the Detachment Leader (4505Marcel) or to the XO (Chex), or to Chef? I am not on the Lancer approval team, but those individuals will respond and provide feedback.
  4. You seek an Altmanns helmet my friend. I too have a large noggin and that's the only one that fits me. When you get about 3 more posts, the Trade section will open up to you. http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=13442
  5. This is my setup for the classic and shadow scout: Belt Back: 2" nylon Drop Boxes:1.5" cotton (slot is 1.5") Chest/Back Top Closure: 2" cotton (1.5" gap) Forearms: 1.5" elastic Biceps: 35mm elastic Knees: 1" elastic bottom and .5" elastic top (w/rivet) Shoulders: 35mm elastic Chest/Back Lower: 2" elastic (slot is 1 3/4")
  6. I picked up a pair from Chris909x (another member here on BSN), and they are top-notch. Great quality and totally to Lancer spec. 4505Marcel (our DL) also makes a mighty fine pair, too. Chris909x http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showuser=78307
  7. That's sleeverob (Steve Robbins), a BSN member.
  8. Yep, the trade section opens up when you hit 5 posts. You just hit the mark, so go to the home page and look for Trade Section thread.
  9. Ideally, it should look like this: And this is my KS kit: You can do it, just be careful and should be okay. Check with the Lancer team to be sure though...
  10. No problem at all. Here's a couple of pics of my other lids. MLC with foam: KS with their "foam" liner: This is my Tie lid with "star shaped" foam, similar to the originals: I also have a new Tie lid and put a hard hat liner in it too. It's the bomb man, that's why I'm going that way now. Except for my Chef Shadow Scout lid. He's staying foam, just because it works for that one.
  11. I have foam in my Shadow Scout and typically go that route. Once I put the hard hat liner in my white scout lid, I'll never go back! Easier to wear and not as hot. It's 103 in the shade in Texas.
  12. Check out this video from Trooperbay. It explains things very nicely. Here is a pic of mine:
  13. You got it. The flap should be right at the elastic band. That's how mine (a Redkap) is setup.
  14. I'd scale it back about 1/2" on the sides and about 3/4" on the bottom. The top is good but could be about 1/2" lower on the suit.
  15. That's too funny! Apparently they cut a few scenes where they search the falcon and another with a snow speeder chase. That would have been nice. Maybe on the deleted scenes reel...
  16. I think you are on the right track. Replies or posts is cool. It helps the community get to know you better. Looks like you need one more, so reply here and you are all set.
  17. Welcome to Bikerscout.net! There is an open sales thread right now in the trade section. You'll need at least 5 posts to see it though, so 4 more. Once there, look for Spike's thread and check it out!
  18. It's in the trade forum, right now. I don't know how you could miss it. How do you browse the site, browser or mobile? I sent you a PM too. http://forum.bikersc...l=&fromsearch=1
