thanks for the comments guys! the snaps are a good idea. you could just snap the flap and cumberbund together. i don't know when the belts will be ready , i have to finish the buckle and cod peice and make it work together before i can mold the belt.

here is the belt,cod and belt buckle make up. i plan to make the belt out of rubber. the cod and buckle will be made of abs. i left a flap at the top of the belt so you can glue the belt flap to the inside of the cummerbund. i will leave a flap at the top of the cod piece so the belt,cod and cummerbund are all connected so they don't shift around when you wear the costume. here are the shins cut in half for the vactable. they are almost done just got to do some fine tuning to the centers of the shins and fill some small spots.

very good point this costume changes frome scene to scene just like the helmet. sheesh why did they not build a real costume?:????? cgi is cheaper i guess. on my gloves i hope to have a update soon, but i am not holding my breath. she has all the refernence and the greebs you made for the gauntlets. ohhh i might have someone doing cummerbunds. ladysewforus on the TDH has shown a little interest in making them. so i sent her some reference and she might even put the pouches on......... fingers crossed.

here is the movie still and i think the glove gauntlet has a shine to it like leather. it also does not look like the sleeve of the jumpsuit.

i hope you find someone cheaper to make them than i did.

here is the boot armor so far. real tricky to get the right look. they will be vacformed. so should be able to cut to fit.

if they build it,they will come......... i mean how many pairs of the boba boots do sell every year???

moving the recon scout here would not be a bad idea.

here is mine after i dyed them brown then dyed them with a bottle of black. the pants look great but the shirt will work, you don't see much of it anyways with all the armor and gloves and such.

i told her to go ahead and make the gauntlet with the rubber greeb. the reason for this, is i keep looking at the screen shots and the gauntlets look different from the sleeve. they have a sheen to them like leather or something.

i deleted the old thread pics and started this one to bring everybody up to speed on my build. once i have all the armor done i wil get them ready to mold and vacform. new helmet ..........done arm armor .............done. knee armor and strap ............done. chest and backplate and tank.......................pretty much done. the greeb will be set into the tank ,flush with tank surface. shin and boot armor just getting started. nz jedi helped on the shins......thanks tim i am also working on the belt and cod piece. hope to have pics up soon.
