  1. this post is for angelo. here is the backplate and tank!!!!!!!! here is the pic of the first full kit pulled. i have to fine tune the chest and back plate so i get pulls that go all the way to the platen. a little more work and should get cleaner pulls. some of the pieces are rough trimmed and some are not. i am using .125 hips and i am going to use .090 for the final pulls.
  2. you can always build the 2 helemt kits you already have. all kits do not do the finished product justice. just decide on which helemt you like better and finish it.
  3. i am begining to agree with you. i found a a pic where the cod looks like it bends with the KST's movement. crl updated.
  4. good points, nate mine is based of the battle scene "the stunt helmet" and pghfett's is based off the gree scene with yoda "the hero". they are different , believe me. me and mike have spent more time looking at those pics than the guys who made the movie.
  5. GET TO WORK!!!! just kidding. have fun and take your time.
  6. only us dumb americans still use inches, feet and yards. but hey we did put a man on the moon and invented the atomic bomb. we rock!!
  7. awesome ,angelo. congrats! yours is the best KST yet. i think KT would be better than cb.........
  8. looks like a good pattern. i would not set the pouches in stone until the cumberbund is made. and then see how well the pouches fit and are spaced out.
  9. anyone have anything to add? i am about to send this to the higher ups for review. i am sure they will add or take away some things. but we will see.
  10. nice what is up with the serial numbers??? government?? i love hot girls that like star wars!!
  11. the boots are a dirty white with tan soles.
  12. hey productions. the kashyyyk part of the forum does not get alot of love. they are about 5-7 guys that post regularly. so give it a week and you should have your votes. i voted for the shorty , i own both the shorty and the long. the long is nice but i really do not want to carry that thing for 5 hours or so at a troop. just my 2 cents.
  13. here is the boot armor trimed and taped together to get idea of what they will look like. these will be seamless. slide the shin armor on then pull your boots on, then slide the armor down over the boots. the toe armor will be tricky. because it will have to move some to walk. i am going to cut off the bottom buckle on the boots. sorry about the pics , they are taken from a mirror.
  14. it ain't a secret now.........
  15. i know , i was like ohhhhh crap!!!!!!!!!! sometimes you do dumb things and just think to yourself , what were you thinking?? my supersecret project is a version II of my KST helmet. completely new sculpt. but no pics until i am ready to show........
  16. thanks for the comments ,guys. funny thing happened to the backplate today......................i kinda crushed it :( but no worries, i will have a new one made in a couple of days for the test pull.
  17. the length of the belt is 42 inches and comes in 2 parts. the long piece is 32 inches.
  18. thanks i would be worried about the pattern not being supported until you glue it to the black belt. if rubber is not a solid piece it tears very easily.
  19. well , the vac table is up and running. FINALLY!!!! after burning up some plastic and tweeking the table i was able to pull the first test pieces. everything is going pretty smooth now. i just have to do some work on the armor plugs, smooth things out here and there. but overall the project is coming together. i ma going with .090 becuse the 125 stuff is not giving me the detail i want.
  20. sweet!! thanks for this. i am sure each person will have to add or take away according to what size they are.
  21. i think that is what she did. but a little black leather dye and the pads and belt will look fine. they are made from deer skin so they are not as heavy as leather gloves and they are really comfortable. she makes each pair to your exact size. not cheap but very nice gloves.
  22. thanks for the info, jason. if anyone recast or tries to sell recasted goods on BSN i will do my best to run them off this forum.
  23. someone convert these to inches , because these look pretty much dead on.
  24. i had dorothy gaspar make these. they are expensive but i thought they came out pretty good. acrylikhan made the gauntlet greebs. my only complaints is the grey pads are too light and the glove needs to be a little thicker looking. but overall i am happy with the finished product. i do have to weather them to get them to look right. if you are interested in some of these gloves contact dorothy at gaspar gloves, and tell her tom from alabama sent you. but be warned they are not cheap. http://gaspargloves.com/
