1. Do we need custom forearm lengths for the gloves? The gauntlet looks like it goes up about half way up the forearm. Is this something we should consider being variable, or should we have a standard length? well maybe two sizes, because some arms are longer than others. 2. Materials - I don't think there is a need to make the gloves out of top shelf materials to keep the costs down. But I would like to keep it leather. What do you guys think? leather would be nice, but i am not that picky, 3. What price range would you think is fair? free!!!! just kidding , i don't know. i would try to keep it below the 200 dollar mark ,if not the 150 dollar mark. 4. How many people are interested in a pair and what size do you take in a glove? I may have a problem with shipping these out of the U.S. due to new Customs regulations. i am very interested. i have no idea what my glove size is, i guess a large.

what do you want to know about fiberglass other than it itches?

you guys look like you have this glove thing covered. with the armor build and helmet build and building a vacform table. i don;t really have time to work on glove greebs. Acrylikhan sculpted those just fine ,why can't he do the rest and let me be a lazy bastard and buy what i need from him. :)

that is the tough part on this helmet, you think you have it right, then notice something else. then back to the drawing board. like right now i am doing a repaint on mine and redoing the viser some. there are 2 different helmets in the movie, the hero and the stunt helmet. one looks like a hound dog and the other looks like a bulldog.

i need to know the size of the top of the glove ( hand)to make it.

i bought it on the TDH from cdr thire, he said that Tmaxxfett made it. it is made of wood and pvc and brakes up into 3 pieces. i thought the guy did an excellent job on it.

what is up with the glove greeb??? do you have that molded yet??

progress has slowed a bit because of my small helmet run. got those out of the way. now i have started to build a vacform table to do all the armor except the back plate and tank. that will be made of fiberglass. the back and chest plates should be finished soon and i can start on the shins. yay vacform, fiberglass stinks!!!!

well on armor ,i am thinking of doing it all out of vacuum form except the helmet. vacform would be easier to reproduce, cut time and expense as aposed to the fiberglass stuff. that i think would make the armor more widely availible to anyone who wants it. all the clone and tk's are vacform. i am in the first stages of building a 36 by 36 vac form machine with the help of my father.

yeah, mine is more of the stunt helmet. and if you look at pghfett's helmet ,his is closer to the hero.

welcome, glad you are tackling this helmet. i thoght it would be an easy first helmet to sculpt but i soon found out it is a hard one to get right. i am already thinking about version 2 of mine. after you are done with this , there will not be a helmet out there you will not be able to sculpt. if you need any help, let me know. good luck and i look forward to your progress.

don't wait for that. if it looks right to you, move forward. if i waited on that kind of stuff i would still be at the begining of my KS project. you can always upgrade to a better pattern later.
