  1. i tried some thinner elastic lastnight, about 3/4 inch. it sorta worked. i will try the thicker stuff today for giggles. i can always heat it up and give it a slight bend. :-)
  2. Here is an update on the Flak vest. fits nice . (dont mind the cummerbund on my left side :-P )
  3. do the bells look to flared out to you? if not , should i just "tack down" the flak under the bells?
  4. would elastic band work on the bells to bring that in? or possibly some velcro between vest and suit?
  5. TB5651 here, Requesting Lancer Deployment Kit is as follows MCv3 Helmet with custom padding, and magnet closer points MC armor KS blaster Witness custom boots LSFU flight suit (modded) LSFU cummerbund (modded) Custom Gloves
  6. velcro on belt, not a bad idea. i ended up tailoring my bund better so it was not so "frumpy" as the wife put it.
  7. Here is what i ended up doing. i took some ABS plastic and then hot gluing it to the pipe, then when that set, i used epoxy on the edges. the velcro works perfect!
  8. <!--quoteo(post=65388:date=May 4 2011, 12:20 PM:name=4505Marcel)--><div class="quotetop">QUOTE (4505Marcel @ May 4 2011, 12:20 PM) <a href="index.php?act=findpost&pid=65388"><{POST_SNAPBACK}></a></div><div class="quotemain"><!--quotec-->Yes snap in the cod, but you have to do it "before" you sew the cod together so the snap cant be seen on the outside of the cod mate.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> figured that. but the normal way is no biggy. :-P
  9. so how does your belt buckle stay behind it? did you have to change it to one side (lopside buckle)?
  10. true, but the local GLM is giving me flak about it.
  11. alice clips might work, but they still show a little. i want to see a pic of this ziptie idea. im thinking about velcro my self. box in the back of the TD, then add loop to the buckle (center of where TD goes) then hook side on the TD. might have to give that a try,
  12. you did a snap on the white part of the cod, and attached at the front? smart idea.
  13. I have a TD kit from MC. and it seems the belt clips used are not kosher. what is the lancer way to attach the TD to the belt? pictures would rock! thanks guys Duc
  14. here is an odd one. does the strap for the crotch go under the butt flap, or over it?
  15. how far off center (from the center of chest plate, on each side) should the pouches be mounted? they look about half way on each side. from what i can tell. this is the last thing i have to do before i submit pics jake
  16. here it is so far. i know i have a little gap on the chest plate, but im not wearing suit under. depending how i stand, the bells look a little diff on hight etc. but i think they turned out great. they dont flare much at all at the bottom. thoughts?
  17. how did you attach the elastic?
  18. exactly! today im going to attach my shoulder bells. unfortunatly i gave LSFU wrong cummerbund info.. so its to small. should have a new one next week. then im DONE@
  19. never mind... that was a dumb question
  20. if you have the vest, velcro to that right>?
  21. im 5'10" and about 220, my MC kit fits well
  22. question boys, how high should the shoulder bells sit compared to the shoulder straps?
