  1. Yeah, believe it or not, there was no ear mesh in the screen-used bucket. I have it in mine & don't plan on taking it out, but yeah...it was just a hole with some black background. lol.
  2. Yes, but officially, since its not in the CRL, its not currently approvable. There are lots of oddities, one-offs, and flubbs we see on screen with various costumes, but that doesn't mean they were intended to be the norm for that character. I'm pretty sure there was a scout with a vest that closed up the front as well, but that isn't considered approvable either.
  3. If you don't see it in the CRL, it aint there.
  4. To march at SWW, I wouldn't get too crazy with the weathering, as all costumes are reviewed first, but it is definitely ok to have. In fact, if you scout enough in FL, your suit gets naturally weathered pretty quickly anyway.
  5. Wow! I'm diggin' all the great pics! Keep up the good work!
  6. I started out with this suit too & with modifications to incorporate a seperate vest, its still a decent option IMO.
  7. I put a tiny strip of Velcro on the outside of my handguard, that sticks to the inside of the holster.
  8. How old are you? I think my feet stopped growing at like 13 or 14. The holster is just riveted on, so you can always drill out the rivets & use the holster for different boots if need be. My first boots actually had the holster Velcroed on, with rivets just being in the corners for show, in case I wanted to remove it for driving.
  9. I believe it's feasable. I'm only 5'6'' and I wear SC with no problem. I think MC is just a bit smaller than SC though.
  10. Wow! Lookin' good, Kev! Can't wait to see more.
  11. I keep mine in a big Stanley tool bin. Just don't leave it in a non-climate controlled room, like a garage. The plastic might warp a bit, or yellow.
  12. I have SC armor & a KS bucket. The color difference between the two isn't really noticible at all IMO.
  13. As-is, it won't fly. I think most people remove the off-the-shelf collar & replace it with the mandarin stlyle (seen on every other Star Wars jump suit), or just mod it somehow.
  14. Me too. One of those self-sized, duct tape mannequins would have came in handy for that.
  15. I agree as well. Velcro works scout magic anyways....
  16. Awesome! I hope you get it soon!
  17. I always figured it was cotton, to match everything else, but if you look closely at the Blu Ray Scout, it looks a lot more nylon to me now. Of course either are fine & I'm not suggesting one is better than the other. I just wonder if anybody else might have thought that about the Blu Ray display.
  18. Lookin good bro! Now you are at the hardest part...waiting for the armor.
  19. If you really search hard through MEPD & ask around over there, it's possible one might turn up. I'm yet to see it though.
  20. I did pretty much the same thing to my shoulder bells...looks a lot better. I've been meaning to do that with my forearms for a while too. Great tutorial pics! (pics motivate me I guess lol) Never noticed that in the bicep greeblie. Shouldn't be too hard to mod I supose. Awesome eyes for detail!
  21. You know I'll be sharing that pic with the IOC! LOL...
  22. Sounds reasonable to me. Thanks for bringing this up.
  23. Awesome find. Lots of other cool pics I'll be examining for reference there too.
