See announcements. -
On behalf of the Command Staff, we would like to welcome Nath, TB 42135, aka Benelina, to the Lancer ranks! Make sure you get a picture to Jim GriffinX so he can add it to the Lancer page. Now get out there and make us Lancers proud!

I'll echo what Jim said. This place has been a great place for current scouts, and up and coming scouts. The information is here. If Donovan, who is not even of legal age to join the 501st, can put together a scout with just the information he finds on here, and by asking relevant questions, then everyone should be able to. We're here to help and guide, but we're not here to hold your hand through the whole process. Be nice to each other. When you come off as an ass (pardon my language) then you're more likely to get banned/suspended, or just not receive the help that you're looking for. I've talked to a lot of our members, and I've met a lot of you through cons and events like Celebration, and no one ever has anything bad to say about BS.N. If you do have a bad experience, please, PLEASE, come to Marcel, Chef, Jim, Grumpy, Lou, or myself so we can rectify it. If anyone was at the White Armor Panel at C6 and watched the scout part, then you'll know how many times I said BIKERSCOUT.NET. I couldn't stress enough that this is the be all end all place for Biker Scout and Kashyyyk Trooper info. The Command Staff here are just a small part of what makes this place run. It's you, our members who keep this place thriving, and help ensure that this is the best place in the world for Scout and Kashyyyk info. Just wanted to say thanks to you all.

Ok, what we've decided is that you need to space out the pouches a little more so that all 5 ribs in the bund can be seen. We can only see 4 from your pics. Also, if it's possible for you to level off your chest and back so that it looks more aligned. Looks like it's just on the right side, as the left looks pretty level. Is this something you can adjust or fix? -
You didn't just jump in, you plunged in lol. Glad to see you come back to finishing the scout. Much easier then the TFA lol. Helped my best friend build his, and that suit is a chore. Sounds like you have everything you need for your scout. Should be a quick build once you get your armor.

Looking good. We'll get back to you. -
And just to add something, that Hello Greedo guy, he's a personal friend of mine, who is part of my local squad.

If your SC kits are missing greeblies for the TD, contact SC and let him know. I'm sure he would replace them.

1st Helmet Purchasefor 501 approval/trooping
Chex replied to vonzipper's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
Been a while since I've handled one in person, but as long as the decals are all correct and hing bolt covers match the color os grey on the snout, and there's no molded stamp on the back bottom of the lid, it would be good. -
This place is THE go to for all scout related questions. I'm sorry you couldn't find the information with the links that were provided. The information is here, you just have to put in the research to find it. We all have done it. But we're here to help as well; However insinuating that this site isn't informative or helpful, when it is MORE then helpful, can paint one in a bad light and might make others less inclined to answer your questions. Plenty of scouts have used the information here to build their scouts, and get them Lancer approved just by searching and finding the info themselves.

If you go with a standard flight suit, maue sure that it's not too baggy in the legs. Once you put on the knee armor it will cause the legs to billow out.

Boot rivets are silver, knees are white. Good looking scout though! -
Nope. It's troopable if you paint it, but due to the incorrect size you might have a hard time having it stay in your boot holster, and it would not qualify for Lancer, should you choose to go that route.

KS is a good trooping helmet, and has plenty of space. Just need to change out the snout and bolt covers on that one. I troop with a KS, but am building a LW (Whenever I get around to finishing it.) Word is still out on the RS, tho I suspect it will be troopable. I would consider the Altman's more collectible at this time then the RS, but people do troop in them. -

Looking really good. Need you to paint the rivets on your knees white. We'll discuss and get back to you. -
If it's our Rob, who goes by Chef here on BS.N, then it's good armor.

Congrats! -
The reason we don't specify on the tank, the width of the pinstriping, is because with different armor makers, tanks are different sizes. Just look at screen grabs, or the pictures im in the various build threads to get a good grasp of how your tank should look. As for the greeblies on the TD, I'll PM you about that.

Either that or use photobucket.

Better to give advice when we can see all 4 sides. Def lengthen your t-straps to lower the shoulder bells. A lot of just finish really, making sure things line up, getting the pouches evenly placed. You should have a mandarin color, and not have a collar that's folded down. Def need more pics though.
