Your vinyl should run as high as the third lace hole from the top and as far back as the heal section where the seam meets to sole.

Knowing that you will be mocking up the vest, prepare to be asked for detail photos of the neckline and arms. Final appearance is what will matter.

If you are attempting to make a mock appearance of the vest using add ons to the undersuit, you need to incoporate a few things for the appearance value: 1. Part of vest that comes up from backplate around neck. Showing seam with velcro closure similar to cummerbund (this is why I made my vest/cummerbund a single piece, the movie ones were however two pieces) 2. Ribbed sleeve appearance up to shoulders and black vest running all around "arm hole" In short, the arm holes and neck hole need to have the appearance of a vest in them. For all intent purpose, to duplicate the appearance, you may as well make a vest. I can understand your desire to make a more comfortable suit for warm humid weather, but Lancer specs will not be adjusted for comfort, they are intended to be for film accuracy. They may not be perfect, but if we can see the vest in the screen shorts, it needs to completely be part of the costume. Lancer is not so much about the parts you are using, it's about the final total package look. Most people will find that doing things the same way others have done it, makes it easiest to get the final look right.

Mike, people have chosen not to engage in debates with you regarding your beliefs on parts of the costume. When people do not see your way, you become confrontational and insulting and claim you are only looking for discussion. From what I can see, myself and others interpret what you think are pockets as seams, reinforcements and hip pockets on the motorcycle racing suit which multiple LFL sources have told us used for the film. If people decide not to "discuss" in the one sided manner you choose, that is their choice. If you choose to continue to insult people and bring up confrontations and debates about the costume that nobody wishes to engage in, then I will have no option but to take administrative action against your account. I'm not going to discuss this any further with you. Just because you cannot accept some of the other research done here by other members does not mean you need to coninually post new threads simple discounting it because you say so. Either make your discussions true discussions where other's opinions are also valid instead of just yours, or stop posting. It is your choice.

Duck cloth is also known as cotton canvas to some in the textiles world.

I put my MC snout on my KS helmet using goop. That way it is removeable in case I need to replace it.

On the KS suit, the chestplate and backplate are a little wider and more square than the film used armor, altho the KS makes an excellent helmet. SC, as well as MC both make excellent body armor. If you need contact information for those, please contact the detachment armorer bluecyclone via PM.

No, you don't need to purchase from me. You just need to have boots made from the right material. Your boots are made from a vinyl that appears to crack and fold when bent. You need something more like this: http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog/product...PRODID=prd23669 in white 4789087.

Paint it white. It was probably left out of the CRL because it's sort of an accepted given thing.

Make sure there is room in there for you to be wearing an undersuit and a vest...

Paint the rivets on the holster and plastic part of the belt white.
