I just got caught up with this. Excellent work so far. I wish I was good at sewing. I like your idea of having the box for the pouch lower, that way it will hold its shape, but you are still able to access stuff inside. I may have to do that as well.

Its been a little while, but last night my buddy came over and helped me with his sewing skills. We finished the flightsuit by adding the riding patch, butt flap, and elastic around the legs. We then went on to start the boots. We stretched the vinyl over the toes and glued them down, and made the tubes. We just have to glue the tubes and make the dog bones and glue them on. They only thing left I have to do is Primer the spot where I filled the gap, and sand it down smooth, then primer and paint the whole helmet, and add the decals. Hopefully, I'll be ready for submission photos in the coming days. One thing I did realize, is I need clips for my TD. I may have to make some, somehow, as I cant find any to purchase. I'll post up pictures of my latest progress, once Tapatalk displays the WIP section on their app, which is oddly missing at the moment.

I have been working on closing the gap on my helmet. Last night I added a second application of Devcon. I was just working on sanding it down. I was looking for feedback on my progress. Is there anything I can do to smooth it out more without using the Devcon? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I think I’m going to use an latex glove to do the rest. I think I’d have better control over what I’d be applying. I used a wooden coffee stirrer on the first application.

Good afternoon. I was going to order the belt clips that Strider has listed in his build thread, but they are sold out with no idea of when they will be available again. Does anyone have any leads on something similar?

I echo what was said before, build for Lancer right away. I learned that lesson building my TK. After it was complete, I decided to go for higher levels of accuracy. While not hard to do after the fact, I had to go and make minor changes that could have easily been completed during the initial build. I am also looking to become a TB with a Studio Creations kit. Have fun on your journey.
