  1. Congratulations Brien. Looking forward to trooping as Scouts together in the future. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Ultimately, you have to do what will make you happy. You could always shoot for level 2 down the road if you change your mind. I would recommend doing research while you wait for your armor to arrive, to prepare for what work will need to be done.
  3. We have almost the same build. I'm 6'2" and currently weigh 221. I have a Studio Creations kit, and have achieved Lancer status. I do think the helmet is small, but it works for me, and heard that they are working on a new sculpt of the helmet.
  4. I forgot about the WTF not making Lancer. Is it too late to cancel the order and get a refund? You could get a Studio Creations kit.
  5. Welcome to the Pathfinders. Personally, I recommend building to Level 2 out of the gate. It would be much easier than have to back track on stuff, especially if it comes to softgoods. All it would take is a tiny bit of extra effort to achieve it. I hope you have fun on your armor journey.
  6. @Jakeputtand @Chopper Thank you. I think I'm going to make some alterations.
  7. Hello everyone. I am getting ready for a troop that is later this evening. I had a question. What is the best way to connect the Chest Plate to the cummerbund? Currently, I have the loop side of velcro CA glued to the inside of my armor, and the hook side sewed on the top portion of my cummerbund. Is there a better way of doing this?
  8. That doesn't sound crazy one bit. I already repaired it, but I am willing to try it when the time comes.
  9. Thanks @troygordon2. Thank you for your service too.
  10. Excellent advice @Chopper. I think I have enough slack in the belt, as I have been losing some weight. I will try some of these methods. Thanks.
  11. Hello Scouts. It’s been a while. I recently suited up for a photo shoot with some fellow Garrison members and noticed this. It appears the hole on the belt stretched too wide and slips off the rivet. I was thinking of putting it back on and covering it with E-6000, but won’t it just keep stretching? Thanks in advance for the help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Congratulations.
  13. Congratulations Mickey.
  14. Congratulations.
  15. I'm debating on going with Ukswrath's audio in my TB helmet. I have his setup for my TK and I love it.
  16. As usual Corey, awesome comparisons. This will certainly help current and future Scouts out.
  17. @ZeroninWill you make history and be the first one approved since its your costume they used for the CRL?
  18. Welcome. This was a fun kit to work on. I too had to have help with the softgoods, and a friend graciously came over to help me out with his sewing machine. I ended up getting my own, and am learning some basic things with it. We will see how good I am when I start sewing my Tusken Raider together. Have fun, and enjoy the process. There are lots of great Scouts here that are always willing to help out.
  19. I agree. I am the proud first time owner of a Studio Creations Scout Trooper. I had an excellent experience with Jeff from the initial inquiry about his armor, to me receiving it. He always responded to emails or messages if I sent them. I would definitely purchase another set of armor from Studio Creations in the future.
  20. Congratulations Dennis.
  21. Sounds like fun. Welcome back.
  22. I like the thought of using magnets to hold things in place.
  23. I cant help but notice all the rum bottles in the background. I should've had that during my build, and maybe it would have helped me relax a bit. Congratulations on becoming a Pathfinder.
