  1. Too o bad there isn’t one clear picture
  2. Anyone have a hi-res image of this? https://goo.gl/images/Qk6m85 trying to get a good look at the pattern
  3. Those are images from Gino’s scout, correct? As I understand it, he obtained the pattern from the props.
  4. My jumpsuit just arrived. Keep in mind, I only purchased the jumpsuit alone due to the fact that my measurements were slightly above the x-large by an inch or two. So this was a gamble I wanted to wait on the cummerbund For 2 reasons: 1) make sure I fit the jumpsuit 2) the revised images was not updated until recently. That being said...it fits with little wiggle room and not constricting. So...i’m happy about that. The jumpsuit... Made of 100% cotton (except for the suede of course). Makes it much lighter than the redcap coveralls. Durable stitching. The mandarin collar.. It doesn’t have a large overlap. Which is great if you’re going with a neck seal. I most likely will use one. The main zipper is hidden subtlety with a flap The riding patch... Clean stitching. Comes down to the knee The butt flap... Double layered suede adds weight to it. Attached from the inside. No visible stitching. Trying it with my sc belt and Cheesewhoopy Bund and Cod. Still going to purchase the vest, bund, and cod from IB to review. Gonna be interesting how their bund holds up. For the record, I love my cheesewhoopy bund and pouches and how they have a thickness to them and makes them more ridged. We’ll see😉 The only modifications I plan on doing to the jumpsuit is removing the elastic band and replacing it with cotton 2” vintage strapping and adding stirrups to the feet to keep the legs from riding up One thing I didn’t realize is there isn’t suede on the back of the thigh. can anyone confirm there is or isn’t suede there? Does the patch end at the seam? I cant see the color difference from the suede from the M&M photos. Overall. I like it and would recommend.
  5. Found a couple of matching straps on eBay. Search: Vintage camera strap Keep an eye out for cotton or canvas. Looks to be the right material, not nylon
  6. Tried them on for the first time. Sorry for the crappy/dirty mirror pics. Thoughts??
  7. Just saw the report on FB. Very sad.
  8. Also..it appears my flightsuit is shipping on Monday. That was really quick.
  9. EDIT. They have updated their website with new images. Noting: They now offer the bund (which looks to be the correct size) The Pouches are separate. It offers the end user to adjust to their preference. Although I know they should be 1” to the outer most ribbed stitching, but this also allows them to give them a tea bath for those who want to alter the color.
  10. We’ll see soon enough. Vincent seems to be taking notes and applying them where possible. Keep in mind there will always be production constraints, especially since not everyone has the exact same body type
  11. This will be my first IB purchase. Im officially in the production phase. They say within 4 weeks. Anyone with experience can confirm lead time?
  12. Sorry to be all over the place, but finished the second coat. And pulled the remaining threading out of the zipper area. I can only do the major parts when the kids are asleep or at school during the week. This weekend they’re spending time at birthday parties. This weekend I plan on finishing: -the second boot (just the dogbone left) -inner boot strapping to maintain the stability of the holster -modifications to my bund and if I have time... Waiting on the IB flightsuit to arrive to modify. Based on the images I’ve seen, I already plan fixing one thing for sure and touching up a certain section. Then spend quality time with the boots horizontal strips and color matching without painting of the soles. I’m afraid of permanent discoloration in the future
  13. Found what I was looking for. Was inside this old Gremlins duffel bag lol Its made of cotton, not nylon. Not elastic
  14. Hey guys.. I don’t know if this was ever solved? For the last couple weeks, I keep coming back to this image with the white stripes . I know I’ve see this before.....somewhere. Then it dawned on me I think I saw it like a month ago at my moms house in a box full of handbag and duffle bag shoulder straps she’s had since the early 80’s Im heading there tomorrow after work unless you guys already found it.
  15. Sorry, I meant from the photo of the two actors with the bund coming down. From a photo shoot I vaguely recall white strapping being exposed.
  16. Awesome! thanks! I’m trying to recall from memory of that image along this image on how the cummerbund was strapped. Are we for certain they are even straps?
  17. I see. Isnt there a pic floating around here that “kinda” shows the strapping under the cummerbund? i believe it depicts two actors with there helmets off and one of the scouts cummerbund is slightly pulled down.
  18. Anyone know what this is all about?
  19. I know the wave closes on the 18th, so I ordered the flightsuit to review. If you can wait for the arrival and my review or if IB adds updated images. I don’t mind being the guinea pig
  20. First boot is sewn and attached. still workshopping the horizontal treads.
  21. Just that as Rob mentioned earlier.....the issues has been addressed. And the images on their website do not reflect the final production run. I’ve seen a few snapshots of the revised suit, but I’d rather let RS or IB introduce the images of the revision. The images I have are more cellphone shots and don’t think it represents a good visual.
  22. I’ve been in contact with IB and discussed the revised flightsuit. I’ve placed an order for the flightsuit and will post a review as soon as I receive it.
  23. Fantastic! thanks Rob!
  24. By the way, when viewing the RS YouTube video, it sort of showcases the soft parts. To me the jumpsuit might be missing the butt flap. Anyone else?
