I got these photos from a fake/scam website attempting to sell a line of clothing. New and vintage. Upon research, I found the servers are in Japan, but the host computer was in a flat in England. when I asked if I can purchase that exact boots he had used for his thumbnail, he closed up shop and reopened under a different name. And again, and again. Now I can’t seem to find his new site.

Finally arrived The diameter of bag looks pretty small

On Friday, people were taking pics of my scout on front of theirs while I was walking through the Lucasfilm pavilion. 2 guys from behind the wall came out looking at me. They adjusted the bund for Saturday

I know there are already a lot of images in the Mandalorian category, but thought id add mine in hopes they‘ll help. Here are pics I took of the Mandalorian Scout at SDCC. I cannot confirm if this costume is screen used. Notice the glove clip No holster slots cut out? Pouches sewn right up to the vertical stitches. No tabs sewn above the pouches Return edges on the bottom of the shoulder armor? Looks like these elastic strapping for the shoulders, biceps, forearms, and knees

I reached out to her and she sent me an offer. After attempting to convert my current pair, will have to pass. Especially since they’re too small. I don’t think I’d pay over $75 (she offered a much higher price but lower than $175) for a pair that will have a finite amount of usage. So far the conversion for my son is going “OK” This kids won’t allow me much time before they want attention lol so it’s feeling a bit rushed The paint is a Tamiya Tan. Needs to be a custom paint since the Sierras have darker soles and have almost an orange tint to them Not bad, but not “good”

Sorry guys. had to run errands and take care of my sons Boy Scout den meeting. here’s one more pic and I’ll get the pics in tomorrow....hopefully I think the main takeaway here is that paint can/will fade or discolor over time. Yes, even when not in direct sunlight or UV. Not saying the Star Wars costume book is the end all be all resource to costumers (many variables such as repair or restoration), they mention the paint of the helmet as Ferrari white. if you want to go by that, then that’s up to each individual’s opinion. here is the info for the PPG code 90442. many paint stores can match this paint with ease. They can also do this in an aerosol can This is the color I painted my RS Scout helmet kit. With certain lighting it can work well with the RS abs armor Time to go to sleep.

As long as I’m going to repaint my boots....might as well finish these

I have pics on my home computer from when I took pics of the screen used scout helmet at comic con with my canon and not my phone. When I get home I’ll see if I can upload them. in the meantime, I did take 1 photo on my phone

Ended up using rubber bands. -pliable. good for walking and bending at the toes -good thickness and width -adheres well with E6000 -cheap turned out well will repaint a lighter tan color also, I’m using acrylic paint, so if I need to, can remove safely

Looks like I’ll be frankensteining a custom bag the straps look black canvas the bag looks leather (compared to the gloves) Does it appear to anyone else the straps are attached with snaps, rivets, or Chicago screws?

Currently looking into this bag. Can’t seem to find a vendor or manufacturer

this would be perfect if the straps were longer and didn’t have the extra zippers

Now that I finished my Mandalorian scout bag... Pretty sure this topic isn’t new, so here goes nothing.… Been on the search for this vintage bag. -Black -most likely leather -long shoulder straps (no buckles) -cylinder type looks to be about 8” round and about 16” long anyone have any info? i think I found one. Just need to confirm
