Good morning and congrats on your approval Pathfinder! Hyperfirm is acceptable for Lancer submissions. There are more accurate representations available but we certainly allow them. Looking forward to seeing your Lancer app in the future!

Wow those look great! Nice work! -
Best for screen accuracy, size and price?
Retrofire replied to DarSec's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout HQ
Welcome to the Pathfinders! Whew that’s a tall order as we have several. Drop by the armory and check out the comparison threads for the different types of armor and helmets. That will give you a great cross section of makers vs accuracy. -
Can confirm. My ALT bucket has the same plaque.

The dogbones are looking much better. Thank you for making the changes there. Regarding the snout it looks like there is some overspray around the top hemicircle and it’s not very sharp. We would just like to see the edges a little cleaner. You can touch up that area with some white and it should clean right up. Here’s a pic of my lid. Note the black outline around the snout. I hope this answers your question and keep up the fine work you’re almost there! -
Get on it Pathfinder! Step lively now!

Before I submit, can I get a once-over?
Retrofire replied to jwnikita's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
Much better! Compare this photo with your first photo in the set above. Your belt/TD should cover a small extension with no problem. Once you get used to wearing the armor and suiting up it will become second nature to you. You are GO for submission! It's going to go great! -

That’s great. Just need to loosen your strap a smidge so it’s not as tight. For the biceps you can add Velcro later to keep those in place. Fitment is 99% of the problems a new scout faces and that will come with trooping in it. I think you did a great job and you’ll sail past basic approval! -

It’s looking great Jill! Loosen up your cod piece so it doesn’t get pulled under. You want that piece to be “in front” not under. You may want to consider adding a stiffener to the cod to make it a bit more rigid. It will guard against it folding. The left TD greeblie is upside down when compared to the CRL photos. Your GML may or may not consider that as a finding though. I’d say submit that sucker! I’m a GML and I would approve. Good job! -

With regard to #4 that’s what we’re looking for. Just make them a little rounder and not end in a point. Please don’t overdo it we don’t want you to ruin those boots [emoji106] -

Hi Jason! Apologies for the lag time but here are the items we are requesting to be addressed. 1.) Forearm and bicep armor rotated too far around the arm. This has to do with fitment and you’ll want them to align down your arm. 2.) Right boot closure not secure. 3.) TD end caps look to have an odd spiral pattern (engraving). These should be smooth. Can you clarify this? 4.) Dog bone ends look to be squared not rounded. These just look like they need to be trimmed a little to round the center of the piece. 5.) Helmet paint in snout area (black outline) needs to be touched up. You’ve done a fantastic job so far and should be proud! Just a few touch ups to finish up. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me, Chopper, or Stroker. Again, excellent work Scout looking forward to seeing this completed! -

That’s great news Joaquin! There’s a lot of methods here that can help you build your shadow scout as the armor is pretty much the same. The Shadow’s home is over in the SpecOps Detachment at https://specops501st.com/. You are always welcome here but you also might want to start a tread over there where the experts in that armor are as there are slight differences between the two. Wish you all the best with your build!

Those TD end caps will work just fine. Looking forward to see your Lancer submission in the future!

Jason, Thank you very much for you application! We look forward to reviewing and look forward to getting the photo sets this weekend. Thank you for helping us with that! We will initiate a review and get back to you Pathfinder. -
If you’re concerned Just paint them separately and then combine them. You can always do some touch up paint on them if needed after assembly.

Mickey’s the DL? When did that happen? Here’s to a great 2019 and salute to THE best det in the whole five oh first! -
THIS^^^^ The cod goes in front not under. Just the strap should go under but remain loose enough not to pull on the cod.

Cody, Wow that was fast work! As for the picture at this time all we will need is one from the front. We can judge the belt height and bund length based on that. Thanks again and excellent work getting that knocked out so fast. -

I have mine at 1.5” so you’ll want to be in that range. You can just trim a bit of it and slide it back on the shoulder.
