We'll do our best to build out the community quickly and get those who are mid-build back on track. I know this wasn't favorable for everyone, and I know we will have to work hard to earn the trust of those across the board... we fully intend on supporting this costume 100%.

Same, ordered from Ardmoor months ago and received in their Havana. Quick and pricey shipping, but that was expected coming from the UK
-
There wasn't any secret builds (not that I'm aware of???) ... the CRL that was proposed is based on a member who has a build thread here and is updating it from what I can tell.
-
With the induction of the Shoretrooper to the Pathfinders, current ART Leaders should be on the lookout for those interested locally and adding them in if possible
-
It's look great nearly there man

The official CRL is being reviewed by LMO and will be released when it is ready. As a PSA, while this is amazing news for the Pathfinders there are those who are upset and saying a lot of negative things... I urge you ALL to take the higher road and do not engage in discussion that can potentially cause problems. You're all smart individuals and trust that you will all be respectful of others In addition, there will be changes to the forums in the upcoming week as we prepare our "home" for our new member. Thank you all for the support and continuing to be part of this great Detachment!

Are these soft parts from Etsy up to spec?
Nexous replied to Tarrif's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Soft Parts
I agree, that wait time is a bit much. I'll see if I can chat up with them this weekend about what's going on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Finished...I think. Waithing on approval.

Unsure. Is there a way you can access that account? Maybe contact the 501st or have your garrison reach out to their guys to see if they can resolve.... or I guess worse case make or use a secondary e-mail -

It depends garrison-to-garrison, but ours typically takes about a week or so... we also have a team of I think 2-3 people working on them! -
Truly amazing job! You can tell a lot of work and research went into this as well as love. Seriously. Insane work.

It's honestly exciting seeing a lot of new interest for Kashyyyk troopers, a very cool costume and something I know we would love to see more representation of. Good luck, wish I could be more helpful

Correct, with the 2016 Revisions it'll require filler to appear seamless and be re-painted to match completely (unless filler matches?) Just meant that since he has the belt already in hand that he might be able to just work on modifying it instead of sourcing a single belt -
Same as above, Riveted

SC Belt modified shouldn't be an issue for Lancer, you'll just need to make it look as close to one piece as possible. -
Starting to come together really well keep up the great work

Well done! Nice and light weathering, cuts on the boot soles, and overall great. Can't see anything that jumps out that should deny for your approval On a visual note, are you able to move your forearm pieces a down a bit? I believe the front-ends should be over the gloves a bit, not something that'll hold you up of course! -

If you haven't already, I would recommend reaching out to them. They get a lot of orders and since it's only Joleen sewing things can get jumbled, I know that isn't the best answer, but that's the best I can offer advice-wise. When I ordered my soft-goods it took a bit as well, just had to gently remind them that I have been waiting for a while. -
In most cases Garrisons should be open to newcomers joining in and shadowing / wrangling while they get their first costume approved. I know some guys who haven't completed a costume yet, but have hung around the 501st for the past year (everyone has their own pace, totally respect that!) I'll join in and suggest reaching out and asking what you can do to get involved and let them know of your progress and that you're simply waiting on a few parts... they should be able to sympathize as that's not an uncommon story

Reiterating what others are saying. Base cost is roughly $900, that is with you doing the following > Buying SC Helmet / Armor Combo > Flightsuit, modify yourself > Bund, Cod, & Pouches, made yourself > Boots, purchased and made yourself if you're looking to outsource > Flightsuit, modded can be $60-80 > Bund, Cod, Pouches roughly $150-200 > Boots, $150-200 Super rough numbers / ideas as vendors come and go and pricing varies
-
Modding is not an issue. Most people don't modify theirs other than the basic-basic requirements of using a seam ripper to get rid of extra pockets and the collar... but in the majority of cases taking in the suit does give a much better appearance
-
Stasz is right, the main issue with moto-suits is really that their not as easily available... you'd be spending quite a bit of money... and then you'd have to rip all the zipped and pouches off it (at last whatever is visible with armor on). But, if that is the path you wish to take then I say - go for it! But, as Mickey mentioned the coveralls are definitely easy for a professional tailor / seamstress to modify and create a more desired form-fit. And pricing / availability is much easier.

Thigh armors? well that looks familiar Very cool find / gift! Jealous

Congrats Sandy!
