  1. Hey buddy, here are your review notes: 1) Your shoulder joins need to be tightened. You can see the gap underneath the joins. I'd bring the two plastic pieces right up against each other (or even overlapping a bit) and then put the shoulder bridges overtop 2) Pouches need to be even. Just line them up with the last rib on each side of your bund 3) Bund and vest closures need to be right-to-left. Your bund at least is left-to-right, so just flip it over. 4) Your dropboxes should be brought up about an inch and evened out. 5) Turn your bicep armor forward on your next round of pics and make sure the two discs on the greeblie are facing forward on each arm. Nice work, scout, just a few things!
  2. Okay buddy, here we go: 1) Vest sleeves need to be padded; the stitches are there, but there seems to be no padding. 2) You've got one extra rib in your bund. Should only have 5 3) Make sure your knee rivets are painted white 4) The visible TD clips are now required. See photo below 5) Are your bicep armor straps 2 inches? They should be 1.5 6) Your dropboxes should be brought up a bit and evened out. 7) Your codpiece is camel toeing -- I'd put some foam inside of it to stop that from happening. Or loosen the strap in the back. 8) You've got some loose threads on your left shoulder bridge that need removing 9) You've got some glue marks around your riding patch that could stand to be removed 10) Your TD end caps look really thin. I assume those aren't the ones that came with your kit? 11) Photos we need: a. Clear shot of vest neckline b. Scout blaster c. The belt, particularly the joins d. We need a better shot of the back of your boots. Make sure you put them on nice and even before taking pics. Best of luck! TD clip photo:
  3. Alright buddy, here we go: 1) Move your pouches out a touch so we can see all 5 ribs on the bund 2) Your bund's rear closure doesn't seem to be centered, or else it is off in the photo. So your bund strap is also pulling off to the side. 3) Bring your dropboxes down maybe an inch. 4) The thigh straps are a bit high and loose. See the pic below for a model 5) Vest and bund closures need to be right-over-left. 6) Bring up your bicep armor and turn it forward for your next round of photos. Remember, it's bicep armor not elbow armor! Also make sure that the two circles on the greeblies are facing forward 7) Close your helmet all the way when taking your next round of pics 8) The bund is dropping below the belt on your back photo. Maybe it's a touch too long? 9) Make sure we get good pics of the bicep greeblies, the belt joins and your blaster 10) Can you get the front of your boot soles cut as well? 11) Your pants legs seem a bit baggy. Do they need to be brought in a bit? Or maybe stirrups on your pants cuffs would help pull them down into your boots? I know, it seems like a lot, but it's the little details that make the difference. Reference photo below:
  4. Yup. You need a vest no matter what. But they are not too hard to get. My boy Gabe makes them right here in the good ol' US of A: https://www.facebook.com/Maxs-Sci-fi-Creation-Shop-1651285501763603/?fref=ts
  5. Nicely done! I see a new Lancer in our future! I wouldn't worry too much about the bund not being perfectly smooth. It's not supposed to be:
  6. I used heat to flatten out my SC shoulder bells a tad to give them a more accurate look. It DOES work but you need to be really, really careful. I did melt the bottom a little bit, but as I was cutting that part off anyway, it wasn't a big deal. That's not an option for the bicep armor
  7. The flak vest is required for basic approval and to be worn at certain events. For instance, anything related to LFL. But as was stated above, some people remove theirs in extreme heat because removing the extra layer sometimes makes all the difference. I've marched in 100 degree heat with the vest on and I've been okay though.
  8. Thanks for your application! We will review and get back to you Oh and throw in a pic of your blaster too if you don't mind
  9. ALWAYS think about Lancer. Always.
  10. Probably okay for basic approval. Depends on your GML. If it's not too far off it probably wouldnt stop a Lancer application, but we have to take those on a case by case basis. Regardless, you look great!
  11. Looks really great! Just a question -- is the closure on your bund off-center or was it just twisted for the picture? Also, we like it when your bicep armor is turned forward for pics. It's just fancier that way!
  12. If it comes down to it you can always order one from SC
  13. Given the smaller visor area of the SC lid, I'd say that looks pretty damn good. You could always go up wider and higher if you wanted.
  14. Is that an SC lid? They have a smaller visor area than some of the other lids.
  15. Thanks for the application! We'll review and get back to you
  16. Looks like you are way more prepared than I ever was. I just constantly ran back and forth between my place and JoAnn Fabric every time I realized I needed something else. Good luck!
  17. I'm 6 feet tall and I cut about an inch off my shoulder bells. The SC ones are too long out of the box. Show her some reference pictures from the film and she'll see that the scout bells are not all that long. And if you cut them shorter, then you can wear the bicep armor on your bicep instead of your elbow!
  18. Yes the velcro is just on the flight suit for the back of the cod to attach to. The bund just stays in place on its own. Some people do add velcro to the back of theirs to keep it from sliding down but I dont have that problem with mine
