  1. If I remember correctly there should be a file for just one link that you would print as many times as needed and feed over a web strap to give them structure. Honestly I'd just buy some real straps from Mr. Paul
  2. If I remember right (this was about 7 years ago at this point!) I boiled the IS straps in hot water first so I could shape them better and loosen them up some. That was before I painted them though!
  3. Are those straps the ones that came with your kit? I had to cut my IS straps a bit shorter and I eventually just replaced them with straps that were more flexible. I find the IS ones a little too stiff to work with. The guy that made my straps is no longer around, but Mr Paul does make them as well.
  4. Dark brown is the color it apparently was for Rogue One, though whether the Andor armors were painted the same is not known But you'll be fine with dark brown
  5. If I remember right the only place I needed filler putty was on the forearms and I used Bondo for that.
  6. If you want to take some CRL pics of the blaster and send me a link to them, feel free! Just be aware that the CRLs are in the middle of a migration so we may not be able to edit them to add the new photos in for a bit
  7. I started with magnets, but then switched to velcro. It held better
  8. @Hask @Ruthar are our PT armorers and they can help guide you through the build process. @MrPoopie, besides being a PT himself, designed 3D files for it and is our 3D printer expert. He also did his own jacket, since the original source for it dried up. Feel free to post up any questions you have about the costume here.
  9. Fits my big dome fine. Much better than the crushing headaches I was getting from the hard hat liner
  10. Depending on how handy you are with a sewing machine (and you really don't need to be all that handy), it shouldn't be too hard of a job to downsize the cummerbund. This tutorial may help
  11. Agreed! It constantly gave me headaches. Here is my setup. I used to have a pad on the top, but it lifted the helmet up too high
  12. Ah I see... well again @Hask would be the expert here (especially on Hot Toys!), but if it's lacking a screen reference that's not something we would add to a CRL.
  13. I would need to consult with @Hask on this, but my understanding is that as Grogu is an actual character and not a weapon or other prop, he's not something that could be added onto a CRL.
  14. Always good to add a new PT to the ranks! We look forward to your progress (and thanks for buying that stuff off me!)
  15. I will have to check. Probably? I won't be home for a few more days but I will look
  16. There will be plenty to greet you!
  17. Well this is pretty nuts, but the granddaddy of ARTs just hit 10 years this year! Juan Jose Matamoros designed us a great 10 year logo Not sure if we will do patches or coins... stay tuned!
  18. Well done! Upgraded you to Pathfinders access!
  19. Hey all! This week we launched our YouTube channel in order to house the many videos we've created and will create in the future. So instead of trying to track them down in a myriad of places, they are now all in one easy to find place -- including the Virtual Armor Party videos! More stuff to be uploaded soon! 20. Is this for me? I don't use anything except what you can see in that pic. The Anovos helmet had a small amount of padding built into it. Hard hat liners give me headaches.
  21. Well you put it on the cheeks. Don't put any on the nose area. You want to leave that clear for your nose!
  22. Mr. Paul's are definitely the best when it comes to accuracy. I bought the files myself, and the fact that the funds were going to charity made the price tag a little easier to swallow. Galactic Armory rips a lot of their Star Wars stuff from Battlefront, and as Mike mentioned, that doesn't always work for approval. The 3d models from the game are sometimes missing details; other times they add new ones. It's difficult to really evaluate them until someone starts printing them out though -- there are so many 3D modelers out there now, we can't possibly stay on top of them all. Don't forget about the Sean Fields files too. They have accuracy issues, but they are FREE and many troopers have been approved with them. I believe updates have been made to them over time.
  23. That happens to all of us. Most of just put foam on the cheeks to lift the helmet off our noses
