Where can I find more pics like the one you posted with the in seam patches. I would like to have more reference material so that I am not Guessing on what the different parts are supposed to be. -

Well, looks like I'm redoing that whole area. -
Where do I submit approval pics too?

So I have a question about my backside flap placement. I was looking at this image http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TB_scout_trooper-suitdetail for reference and I felt that I placed the flap in the correct location. I also sewed the inner seam suede into my suite, but you can't see them very well, is that problematic? How much of the leg are they supposed to take up. I used a template that I found here to create them, I have them sewn on they are just kind of hidden. I did also attach the leg elastics as well. Here is an image of the back flap and the leg elastics.

I've noticed that. I don't know I still think they look good

Both dog bones do have double line stitching in them, and the top of the boots do have a line sewn into them. They are down about 1" to 1.5" from the top. I actually like the folds at the top of the boot. I think they look a little more Boot-ish. Will there be a problem getting them passed if the stitch at the top is so far down?

I've finished gluing the Marine Vinyl. I love how they look. The glue is drying for an hour and I am excited to stick them on. I will upload a full body shot of what I have thus far with my kit build.

Making your boots is super fun and I highly suggest it But if you want pre-made, here's an option http://www.imperialb...duct/millenium/ I don't know if you have to make any adjustments to them for them to be 501st accepted. They might already be. But I HIGHLY SUGGEST going through this tutorial http://forum.bikersc...p?showtopic=903 it's not nearly as expensive and i'm having a great time making mine.

We never found non sticky back 1" velcro for the boot calves. I am currently in the process of sewing the velcro on the old fashioned way and this is my first time doing it.

I saw yours, looks like I have some more work to do

Did I destroy them? Are they ok?
-
Fun excuse to use my dremel

Here are the cut lines drawn on my first boot to make them lancer certified. Do they look like they will work before I cut?
-
The opposite side if the boots.
-
When glueing The calf piece do you glue it all around the bottom of the boot or just either side where it sits close to the front vinyl piece in the tutorial I'm following it looks like you just glue the front section.
-
The vinyl is already glued I think it would be difficult to swap them out at this point.

I didn't know there were flat laces, new to all this. Having a great time!

Are they 501st and Lancer standard? I know I still need to cut the sole. But is what is shown Lancer worthy?
-
From the side. I will upload the other side shortly.

Here is the top and front of the boots with the 2nd go around. How do our good biker friends feel about this try?
-
This image depicts where the boots stand at this time. I let them sit in the hot car one more time to stretch, I pulled them out and pinned the push pins into the top of the soles. I'm nervous because the pins on the back sides of the vinyl on either side came up when I put my foot in. Do they need to be stretched more?

I am nervous about the vinyl pulling up on the back sides. All along I have been slipping my foot in and out without problems. But in this last step I slide my foot in and some of the pins in the back sides pull out. Is that going to be ok if I glue everything down or should I pull at those parts a little more?

How do you reference an image. I've never done that.
