Yep it'll work! Scout armor is very forgiving. My first kit was SC. I'm 6'5" tall and at the time my weight was 260. Your good to go.

I don't have any knowledge of that vendor. Maybe someone can chime in with some info.

At post count 5 or 7 I believe you get access to the vendor section. That's where all the helmets kits and other bits can be found.

Less is more. That's a rule of thumb. I stay on the lighter side of weathering like the movie scouts. Go through the Lancer deployment threads and check out the weathered scouts.

2" taken off the flap. Please give the strapping and pouches another looking. Here's a side by side for comparison. Also look through the above pictures again. You can see the chest and back strapping is white also the belt. The belts does have a bit more black over spray on it.

Sc armor is tough! Don't know about the helmet. I've never had my hands on one. I wouldn't worry about enforcing the rest of it.

This! Just cut you some abs pieces out stick em on the back of the rivets then one rivet washer per rivet and your good to go. I like to cut out round pieces for the boot. You won't have anything scratching and cutting into your leg.

I did have to go up half a size. I wear a 10.5 us and went up to a size 11. Hope this helps.
