Hey guys Donovan here wondering how you keep armor parts from slipping like the biceps forearmed and knees.do u have tight elastic or do you attach Velcro to the armor piece and the flight suit?

Ive been told sc is the biggest and ks and mc r small.I'm not sure you can ask around

Hey guys the day has come.I finally bought my helmet and it should be shipped out here in 2 ish weeks!I managed to get an sc bucket from Jeff tht had minor flaws in it for a total of $66.50!it comes with the white plastic, green lens, decals, an old snout.it may come with the bolts but idk well have to wait n c Update 1/29/13 my helmet came today and its the most beautiful thing ive ever seen!ill try to have pics of it tomorrow along with some questions about the build regarding the lenses and the helmet part where the ffaceplate rests.

If u want u can get a new helmet from Jeff tht has some minor errors in it for $66.but if you want just the back I talked to him and he has a lot of the back parts but idk if he still has them.

He doesn't have a full kit :c o well I can still buy a regular kit

I would buy a pair but then I seen that those gloves were 13" and I measured 13" from the tip of my finger down and I was like dang!that would almost touch my elbow!is that how there supposed to be?or am I really that small.or am I reading that wrong and that's 13cm?lol

Hey you guys before I buy my helmet, I was wondering what type of bonding material will keep my helmet together?I heard of e6000 and Ambroid ProWeld but idk wat I shud use.e6000 takes along time to cure but ambroid only takes a couple of seconds and is permanent.so I'm not sure.is there any other bond?

Marcel- I was going to ask Jeff at sc if he could sell a set of yellowed armor to me for a cheaper price if possible.so I wanted to get ur guys thoughts/ideas

What can be done to fix yellowed plastic that occurred from age or the sun?could I just put some layers of gloss white paint over the yellow or is the armor just trash after its yellowed?

hey guys its Donovan here, its gettting closer to christmas and my birthday which means im getting closer to buying my armor. this thread is where ill keep an update of the progress on armor. so far it is a research and wait on the armor. the armor im looking at is mc which is at my advantage because i can pick the armor up so i can save on shipping , helmet is an sc, bund and boots i can make, flight suit from militarysurplus.com, blaster?, and im not sure if im going to buy a flak vest yet since theyre expensive i might wait on that. progress as of 11/4/12: 0% edit: im probably going to have to buy sc if i dont ge4t enough money, i would like either one but i prefer mc, well just have to wait and see until the time comes. only 2 weeks until christmas, im getting closer its 5 days till christmas and im getting anxious for my armor, cant wait. but kinda nervous i wont break enough to buy it. well we'll have to see. I just got a reloadable credit card with $50 on it today 3days till Xmas and I can already see my armor Alright its after Xmas wand I currently have $265.I'm selling my ds on craigslist so after its sold ill have the money for my armor. Today was my bday and I already bought my helmet and I have $420 so I can buy armor and the other parts boots, bund materials, gloves, and helmet liner.I may need a little more money for the extra parts but I'm defianately getting the armor. My moms friend just gave me $150!omg so close!and I bought a skull balaclava for $13 so right now I have $187 ish.
