  1. I agree with the fellas above...avoid this one.
  2. My KS kit came with black vaccuum tubing, but I painted it gray.
  3. Agreed. In a word, Velcro. It's your best friend in the costume world.
  4. No worries, glad to help! You're almost there Greg, keep it going man!
  5. Greg - I fixed your image links. The extra "url=" tag will not work. Your setup looks pretty good BTW. Going forward, you might consider taking in the suit a little here and there to make it fit more snug. All in all, great looking scout.
  6. Agree with the above posts; Trooperbay all the way. Great service, support, and products.
  7. Looks pretty good Chris. As you keep moving forward, you'll tweak it here and there and make it even better.
  8. Congrats Mike, the title badge looks good on you! Please wish Andi all the best Marcel, he's a great guy. Cheers!
  9. Good idea, but I would not go that route. The strap would not pass approval. Some scouts use a magnet inside, others Velcro, etc to secure the blaster in place. I have a small piece of white foam on the inside of the holster which helps to secure the blaster. However, I mostly troop with it in hand.
  10. Ah, yikes. Be careful Duff, you have creative hands! On the scope, if I follow you correctly, I would leave the body flat so the scope can attach to it.
  11. I know our GML for the Star Garrison would not approve them either. You could always keep an eye out for the original Espirit gloves that were used in the movie. But, would need to modify them too.
  12. Awesome work on this Duff. For your Q&A: My 2 cents: 1. Power Cell: the number two option, your extra hollow ring. 2. Trigger guard: separate, and firm is good. 3. Holster retention: in the transistor or trigger guard is good. 4. Scope: the movie version is the best option, cast single point scope w/o the optic point. Or...all black.
  13. Chef's armor is top-notch and you did a fine job putting that lid together trooper!
  14. Agreed. All you need is a balaclava at this point.
  15. This thread may have what you seek. http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=10158&hl=blaster&fromsearch=1
  16. Agree with the posts above. Once I zipped mine it took on the natural bend.
  17. Awesome link, thanks Terry. I do not have a background in this TECH but it's pretty sweet.
  18. Don't give up, the changes are not too bad. We're all happy to help.
  19. Yep, it's all part of the costume guys. Trust me, you don't want to look like a half-baked Biker Scout.
