  1. Great work Jen, you're doing a fantastic job! Keep it up.
  2. Great work Jen, and awesome advice from Alan too. Usually at events there are "handlers". They could be troops out of costume and/or friends and family who have signed up to help. Handlers assist troopers in getting suited up for an event and help keeps all the parts and pieces in-tact. Kids like to grab blasters and TDs, etc.
  3. If it is real, which I seriously doubt, it would be worth a lot of money. I suspect this is a fake perhaps being offered as a real prop. I'd be very weary of this fellow.
  4. For the bells, you could do .5" first and see how it looks. IMO, I think .75" or 3/4" will look better for your size. The faucet aerator is ALL black.
  5. Yep, I'd take off another .75" from the shoulder bells. But the rounding looks marvelous! The snout plate and "engine" part should be gray and the faucet aerator should be black.
  6. Great work Jen! As mentioned above, just need to trim and round the shoulder bell parts. If you don't already have them, pick up a pair of Lexan scissors. You can use a 'quarter' as a template to round the lower corners, too. https://www.amazon.com/Integy-Hobby-C23053-Curved-Scissors/dp/B00QYZOS7G
  7. Looking pretty good Jen! For the bund, the closure in the back is "right-over-left" not "left-over-right". I hope that makes sense. The drop box placement and belt look just about right for you. I think the height of the boxes will be one of the last little tweaks you'll make towards the end.
  8. That's pretty awesome. Have a look around the forum and feel free to reach out with questions.
  9. That's interesting. You can find tons of images here and/or online in general. But need to ask...why make your own armor? Is this for personal use or to sell?
  10. Great progress for sure! And, you have a kitty helper. That's awesome.
  11. Looks amazing, and fits right in with the rest of your room. Truly awesome.
  12. There's definitely nothing wrong with the forum. I took your first image link and edited your post to show it. As mentioned above, just copy the "Direct" image link from PhotoBucket. The other links will not work for you on forums. Also, you can simply take the Direct image link and post it into the forum BBC code for images. For example, to make your first image appear, I used this code. [img=http://i1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh598/Rhino325/Biker%20Scout%20Project/IMG_20170617_115132642.jpg] And...also agree on weathering. The best rule to follow is "less is more".
  13. Yep, you can even heat it up a bit with a lighter and it'll slice right through the material. Just go slow and watch your fingers!
  14. I think the part that was missing was "which" blade type to use. The chisel blade works best when digging into that rubber sole material. A Dremel may work for you but will most likely heat up the rubber and make a mess. http://www.techni-to...CFQItaQodAkYC0Q
