Amanda I'm feeling ya, its not easy, I trimed my Plastic also, I'm 4'11" If you can sew redo your cummberbun to your size otherwise it is going to drive you nuts. you should be able to sell the larger size one easy. I used velcro and fabric for the front and back plate, so I could still pull them apart if needed and I did when I flew interstate. I agree with guys on the boots. I went to my GML and asked what was the closet I could trim the armor before being knocked back on Approval. So before Trimming ask. Good luck

neck seal Why stormtrooper neck seals for Scouts?
M.J replied to TB-7076's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout HQ
Chef the photos you have produced manly the second one, that looks like a neck seal, the ribs are too formal to be pushed down. I went through the movie on my Ipad and took photos like everyone else, it seems we are having great difficulties finding the answer, has the thought come across anyone that some actors had the balaclava and one or two had the neck seal? I would say they doubled up on their stunt actors (stormtroopers) and some had kept the item on? -
Jen, My hands are also the same size, the SithArmor Gloves fit me wonderfully, I'm only 4'11, so I know how you feel, if they are roomy inside maybe where cotton gloves inside. They do tend to look big on the smaller compact Scout.

Jeff...how much ....when can I pay and where do I order -
Michael its the washing issue, to make them all in one. its not a good idea to wash the cummberbun on a regular basis. I dont use elastic, black webbing instead they work a treat.
-
Ryan .....all kits have to be adjusted and Trimed one way or another, members come in all different sizes and shapes so its hard to buy one size fits all, I'm under 5 foot so you can imagine the work I had to place into mine. If you need any help, just like Jimah mentions just pop up some photos and we are all here to help, and we have all been there. I have found SC to be fantastic in their help and great to deal with. If your having problems with the back plate have you emailed SC?

SC Kit Purchased - anyone want to help?
M.J replied to Uplandmacenter's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
Chris if a 48 year old mum can tackle it, I reckon you can, there are plenty of us been in your postion, just like Chef said take your time, start one piece at a time and go from there. Remember Measure once then Measure again, third times a treat and cut or sand or sew or glue....the third time as saved me quite a bit. When unsure POST your little heart out and Pictures are great. -
Matt, bugger sorry to hear, I have made my own cummberbuns, there are two sorts of Duck cotton here in Australia, one is really quite off white more beige which is easy to get, the other is the white and takes a little more time to search for . There are many members that have made their own, so if ya get stuck, just shot us some questions.
