  5. TOTALLY SMOKIN'!!!!!!!!!! (the only thing I would change is tucking in your rear pants pockets......I had to do that to get approved). Other than that......I see number 13 at the door step. Outstanding job!!!!
  6. Dude..................FREAKIN' SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!! The weathering is awesome (the dirtier the better in my opinion and nicely battle torn.......excellent!)......great idea is with the sticks. All of your armor looks incredible. I am looking forward to looking at a pic of you with the soft and hard armor Keep it up Bro........Keep it up!
  7. You're looking real SHARP Darren..............really SHARP!!!!!
  8. Nice job Matt.......errr......Grumpy. He-He-He!
  9. Matt- I am diggin' your craftsmanship with those Kashyyyk gloves! I agree with the weathering .......Dirty is GOOOOOD!
  10. I agree with Dan, Ski, and James. After painting the snout black and the "almond" around the remaining helmet, I used a cut, wet, sponge to apply the green, brown, and yellow stain to the areas of my helmet and armor (this way you have jagged edges in some areas, can curve others, and even make straight lines if needed). Layering the camo paint was another technique I used. After the almond base coat, started with green, then brown, a little yellow, then back to the almond. I just addded more almond to my over all costume to "tone down" the overall appearance. Like the others said, no two camo paint schemes are identical. Green wash and weathering comes later (at your discretion). I know all the camo paint jobs are different, but that (from what I can tell) is one of the things that makes this build so difficult. Also having many stills from the movie, or from others build threads, or other resources can help as you paint.
  11. Awesome........another KT in the works! Keep the pics coming. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask.
  12. CONGRATZ!!!!!!......well done. I like the "Dirty Dozen" idea..........or how about..........The Fighting 41st?
  13. I agree with Lonescout. I also used velcro and have not lost one yet. Depending on how much you use, once they are on, they stay on.

  16. OK guys.......the cards are in the mail . You should be getting them with-in the next few days. Darren, I sent some to you also (Bacara sounds good). I don't know how long it may take traveling across the pond . Hopefully you will get them before this week-end.
  17. Hey guys- I just got my Kashyyyk Trooper Trading Cards in the mail yesterday and thought I would share the images with you. Here they are : Front Side- Back Side- I wanted my card to possibly show a KT spotting a Wookie who might be hanging around in a tree or spotting some droids in the distance on a potential battle field. What do you guys think? Is anybody interested in a trade or would anybody like one? Let me know.

  23. Hey guys, I recently upgraded my KT and purchased some British DMP Camo and just put the finishing touches on it. I also adjusted the front leg pockets so they appear more "boxy". Here are some upgraded pics: I also wondered what it would be like if there was any "character gene splicing" when it came to creating new clones. HHMMMMMMM??????? "Galactic Kashyyyk"? "Hooded Kashyyyk"? Hmmmm? http://i1203.pho "No Fear Youngling Kashyyyk"
