  1. Ahh.....another Kashyyyk brother. Welcome Osman.
  2. I agree with James. If you can recycle the other pockets (possibly from your British DMP shirt), that should work. Your bucket is looking good.
  3. Awesome........I can't wait to see your progress.
  4. Looking good Rob.
  5. Ahhh.......getting closer you are........
  6. Awesome guys......way to represent "The Swamp".
  7. Your soft armor looks like it is coming along nicely. I agree with James, use a Sharpie or some sort of other / permanent marker to hide the stiching. It may take a while to do it all but it does make a considerable difference when you suite up. Hiding the stiching does pay off in appearance. As far as the buttons, they got to be out of site as well. I also had to modify my shirt (I made a sheath to cover the neck area which looks like it is part of the shirt). Also, when you get to it, don't forget to remove the rear pockets on your pants (at your rear end area). Keep it going Bro!!!!!
  8. Nice pics Nate.
  9. Hey guys, I thought I would share this past week-end activities with you. The Kashyyyk Troopers came out in force this past Saturday for a troop in Mt. Lebanon, Pa. for a DK Book Event. Both Ohio Garrison and Garrison Carida combined forces and invaded a mall near Pittsburgh. Representing the Kashyyyk Troopers were Grumpy, RN Jedi and myself (Wyseguy) along with 16 other 501st members. Here are a few pictures: This was a really big, awesome troop! Over 400+ kids and their parents were on site and a lot of them were lining up to take pictures, get autographs, and hang out with the elusive Kashyyyk Squad. I hope to get together with the Kashyyyk couple from Ohio again in the future. Cheers!!!
  10. One step closer.........
  11. Awesome pics. Way to represent the KT at the festival. But......most importantly.......CONGRATS on getting approved!

  15. Nice James.
  16. Congradulations Nate!!!!!! Welcome Aboard Brother!!!!!!!!
  17. Definately dye the fabric before you apply any riding patch. For my filthy patch, I went to Jo-ann Fabrics and purchased a small section of grey marine vinyl (it appears to be leather, its flexible, and you can sew it). I made a template based on one of the movie stills, cut it out, sewed and glued it on (that was a pain in the butt). I then added a little paint to the patch to tone down the surface and make it appear to be used. I also added a border around the patch (per the one movie still) to make it appar more authentic. Here is a pic of the first set of pants I made (non British BDU) : Here is a pic of the second set I made (British BDU) : Sorry the second pic is not a close up like the first......but it shows the same thing. I hope that helps ya.
  18. Nice shots!!
