  1. To the Naughty Step for you my boy!
  2. Jacqueline, please see here... http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=15199
  3. It is with great pleasure that I can announce that Jacqueline Lau (TB-26463) callsign Hyraxe has achieved the level of Lancer. A really tricky build to complete this one, considering Jacqueline is a fully fledged member of the UKG's "Bonsai Squad". Practically every single part of her armour had to be in some way trimmed or shaped to suit and she managed this single handedly. A truly noteworthy effort which shows that no matter what, everyone is capable of turning out a superb looking Scout. I'm doubly pleased because that's another UK Garrison Lancer on the rosters. Well done! Please feel free to peruse her submission here. http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=15167 Now get back to work!
  4. Pretty much the same usual suspects as the ones for your Commando lid, bud. SC, KS, CC, RS, Altmanns, and a few others.
  5. Nothing but your skiddies and a smile dude! When you're in your Scout you're going to be HOT... and not just for the ladies. So best be prepared. Anyway... When you're a UKG Scout, it's best to wear very little on your induction anyway. Bring your own lube!
  6. I've always wondered generally about a 'crew' suit for when spotting and the such like. Rather than Garrison T-Shirts and the such like. Why not have all your spotters and such either as 'officer' ranks or 'crewmen'. As for the 'ranks stripes'.... Well, again no-one really knows and it was probably a wardrobe error. On screen you can see Scouts with 1, 4 and 6 stripes. Does it mean anything?? Probably not. Are they likely to send out 'Officers' on patrol duty... Again, probably not. I was lucky if I saw any of my Ruperts anywhere near the front line, let alone in the boonies without a company of troops in front of them! No Lid.... No go I'm afraid. Take your scout lid off in public and you're just Nik Sant... And that's rebel territory... And you're not a rebel are you??
  7. Can I request that you hotlink all your application pictures to this thread please. Rather than a PB link for us to access. Thanks. Rob.
  8. I suppose it all depends on how bad your individual OCD is. It's probably more accurate having it centred, but I doubt the Lancer Review Team will have you hung drawn and quartered for it being a few mm off to one side!
  9. I wouldn't worry about it being a little off centre. Placement on the hump is good.
  10. Always the problem... Adjust one bit, and it causes the need for adjusting several others!
  11. Essentially the cod section is separate from the main bund part and goes behind it. How it was attached is up for debate but the 'rumour' (as yet unconfirmed by public photographic evidence) is that it was attached to the bottom of the flak vest. Which is why on some shots you can see white over the top of the belt, and on others black. It would just be a case of the torso riding higher to show the black flak vest rather than the white cod part. But to have it go behind the main bund part and have no 'visible' system of fastening is the screen accurate way of having it. Also the belt sits very high and the bund either rests directly on the top edge of the belt, or just tucked in underneath it. It does not protrude out below the belt, or in my opinion go anywhere near the bottom edge of the belt at all.
  12. Are they elastic?? If so, no. They need to be cotton webbing, with a width of 40-45mm. Which in good old fashioned measurements is 1.5-1.75"
  13. Just in case it affects your decision, as they stand they would not be up to Lancer standard. They would require some modification in order to pass at level 2.
  14. Height wise they look bang on. Depth wise they could be a little thinner, but not by much. Same for the width. I wouldn't drive yourself mad over it. Each time you put them on they'll sit in a slightly different place and you'll think they're wrong. It's good that you're being so critical over it, just don't keep chasing it.
  15. Well yeah. there's noting in the specs to say otherwise.
  16. Yet... Might never happen. If it were me... It'd be tomorrow.
  17. Yeah, what I meant was a join/seam around the dome and back. Obviously the screen used ones didn't have a visible join (it being a 5 part bucket), and personally I would like to see those joins filled for Lancer, rather than still being visible. But that's just my personal opinion at the moment. The Lancer specs don't dictate otherwise as yet.
  18. Yup. looking tidy. As Stasz mentioned, bring those pouches in a bit, so the inner edges line up with the outermost stitch lines on the ribbing of your bund. I'd swap out the chest/back join under your arms for something a little thinner than 2" But other than that.. She's a good'un.
  19. I can't see why it wouldn't... I personally would be a little iffy about the rear trap decals. The screen used buckets didn't have the black outline around them. But there is nothing in the 'specs' to dictate otherwise. Also, is there a seam join between the dome and the back??
  20. Agreed... that would not clear Lancer. Stitching on the rear closure is wrong, cod looks way too small, and the elastic looks to be thinner than 2". FAIL.
  21. Ok... just looks a bit stretchy that's all (slightly see through). Not a drama. Width might still be an issue. For getting rid of the marks... Use the end of a pen or sharpie marker (not the nib... the other end!!), rub in line with the weave left to right up and down then spray with water and iron and there gone.
  22. Apart from what has been mentioned already. The two inch elastic between the chest/back plates should be changed out for something smaller and webbing. Using the same fabric as you have for your drop boxes. That usually does the job. I'd knock your pouches out a little bit (not a lot... just to the edges of the ribbing, so you can see all the ribs between the pouches) There appears to be some diagonal stitch lines on the velcro joining section of the bund at the back. These will need to be removed.
