This doesn't affect me at all, but this should be pretty exciting for those who pre ordered! Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Looks like I know who is working on my pair of Sierras along with Striders! Good to meet you! Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Alright! We got someone who knows their leather...I think you're pretty close on everything, but I'm no expert. Strider is working with a leather expert he knows over in Germany on this as well. Strider you want to join in on this convo? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

I was so nervous to mod mine, and when I actually did it it took all of 5 minutes lol Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Bummer about those pics is that the day after they were taken I got new pouches with the new accurate dimensions. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Took some photos recently for trading cards and thought I'd share the pics! These were taken as my new pouches were being made.

Also added another light layer of weathering on the chest and belt. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

A few things are definitely strange (I'm looking at you tank topper), but seeing as how all of the parts are molded from a real suit and the soft parts were crafted using original templates, it's spot on. I wasn't able to attend C8, but after reviewing a ton of photos, I think this is an incredible tool we can use to increase our accuracy. Especially on soft parts. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Re-did my zip ties... This way is more "prop accurate" though it's still debated whether the zip ties are looped or not. You can clearly see that the Scout on the speeder bike next to Luke has his looped, but others are not. This holds amazingly well. The bridge fabric is elastic and is glued over the bridge seams, but they don't loop around all the way. The anchor is hot glued on top of where the elastic ends. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Dude. Nailed it! Now that's what I like to see! So...howd you end up doing it? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Well, now that I've been approved for Lancer I should call it quits right? Wrong! I've got a round of tweaks being made already. I'll post them as I go. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Awesome! Thanks everyone! Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk -
When you weather something for screen use, it looks fundamentally different than if something was "naturally weathered". That being said, I think the weathering used for the screen scouts is fantastic. They layered airbrush with rattlecan, as well as what looks like flicks of acrylic paint here or there. If you want your Scout to look like it walked straight off of a screen then that's the only way to go imo! If you have access to an airbrush, look into buying this... https://www.amazon.com/Badger-Air-Brush-SNR-403-Stynylrez-Polyurethane/dp/B00K3KGSO4/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1491946977&sr=8-4&keywords=stynylrez It's what I used for 90% of my weathering. If you don't have an airbrush and want to try it out, get this one...very cheap and perfect for this type of job! Not technically an "airbrush", but a "spray gun" https://www.amazon.com/Badger-Air-Brush-Company-Basic-Spray/dp/B0006MZPLG/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1491947032&sr=8-10&keywords=badger+airbrush Spray it on from several feet away slowly building up "patterns" of weathering, and then scratch and rub it away with your fingernails and fingertips.

Okey dokey...got it all sorted. On my full-front shot I had my shoulders sitting back further than they're supposed to be, but rest assured they sit better than they look there. -Side strapping has been replaced with cotton... -Also of note is that I've replaced my gloves with some original Modded Esprits. -My bicep armor still wasn't sitting in the right spot but didn't notice until I had taken everything off. I've placed Velcro where they need to stay. There is a detail shot showing correct positioning. -Back plate was trimmed down -Red line fixed on tank topper -TD greeblies flipped -Drop boxes adjusted Obligatory action shots included! I'll get to work! I had a question on the chest/back side strapping...mine are currently elastic, but was under the impression that so long as the color/size was correct that it was still acceptable. Was this not true? Pretty easy fix regardless, just want to clarify. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk -
Finished modding my Esprits today! Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

I assume the originals were just one long piece of fabric wrapped all the way around and attached at the back. Mine are just very simply glued on the inside. Hope that makes sense. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
