I think for the right look it depends on your own physical build. You want it to stretch across so that the end caps are about where your belt comes around to the back of your waist if that makes sense. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Quick point, you can clearly see on the blu ray costume reference and the one from the costumes book (which I think are actually the same suit pictured at different times) that the slots on the holster are cut out.
