  1. Just a heads up not to buy one from sheeves emporium, just incase you are tempted, he's not fulfilling orders and ignoring customers messages, I've seen lots of people complaining about him on various Facebook pages! You could always ask carol if she's willing to make one for you? Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
  2. I personally have everything stuck in place, the only thing to add, when dressing,is the pew pew one thing to bare in mind with the top chest straps, is your more than likely not going to be able to bend and slot them in the back when you are suited up. However as I've said to you before you'll more than likely to need assistance getting everything on anyway [emoji2369] Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
  3. I personally don't use the batton as a prop,so I've just used tape carefully placed so it sits in the holster, and if memory serves I think I screwed my TD in , although industrial strength / 3m velcro would probably do the trick.
  4. It maybe to late now, but what I did for the boxes to attach to the belt, was use small pieces of the belt itself ! If you match up the notches and dips properly it will sit flush and just glue everything in place,I've done a years worth of trooping and they are holding up perfectly fine
  5. I saw and commented on your post on Facebook, when you first posted it.Can I ask if he ever did replace your jacket? The reason I ask is I've seen lots and lots of people complaining that they have waited way over 6 months or longer to receive items from him only to either receive pieces that are badly sized or not get anything at all ,it DOES also seems he likes to ignore messages ( it's not just you) and from my own experience he deleted my comments on Facebook when I asked him why he is advertising new designs whilst people are waiting for items that they ordered nearly a year ago..it seems he's a bit of a dodgy character and people need to be warned when they are considering buying from him!
  6. What I have to do is bend my foot into a angle to be able to get my foot to slide down through the boot and armour 'hoop' and then flatten my foot into the sole of the boots... hopefully that makes sense,at least you know you aren't the only one with the problem excellent job on the weathering of the helmet by the way,it looks natural and like it's meant to be there!
  7. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw these pictures,I have the exact same problem!🤣
  8. Yeah, it's worth a go I think, it maybe worth considering printing some proper PLA first though, as TPU / stretchy material is a more fiddly material to print , just to ease yourself into 3d printing
  9. I will say though,it does make me wonder WHY you never see anyone use it,I've never seen large YouTube channels mention it or use it.. it just doesn't seem commonly used, even in the USA,I think.
  10. I can't find much information on the page itself, other than on the text 'blurb' where it states that it's more flexible than TPU ...? Probably worth contacting the seller to make sure though, maybe. Importing from the states would be a absolute stinger!!!
  11. Obviously, for whatever reason,it's region specific, if it's available or not.I have various friends dotted around Europe that don't seem to be able to source any easily ,but perhaps Plasma might live in a area that it's available???
  12. Strangely,it's not available in the UK,at all, anywhere,as far as I can tell only TPU is available, why that is I have no idea!!
  13. I'm interested if you can locate some flexible PLA as it's not something I've really seen mentioned much,at all .
  14. https://sionnachstudios.com/tutorial-finishing-rubber-armor-and-props/ Although it's not something I've personally done ,the link above gives good advice on painting TPU and may? Possibly help with flexible PLA . I must admit I've not seen many people mention or use flexible PLA, although it does sound interesting!
  15. My work in progress for the UK garrison can be found here https://www.ukgarrison.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=127&t=77784 Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
  16. I will going on my first troop at the end of the month and hope to do many more in the near future! Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
  17. After putting my build progress up on the UK garrison site and then hitting the brick wall of not receiving my armour, a very kind person offered me theirs, which they had purchased on the first run,I believe, however it had never been constructed or used . I'll be honest,it was sold as being sized to him, but there's no way he would of fitted into it,as he was quite a stocky man.🤷‍♂️ I've been 3dprinting for several years now and can honestly say the quality of the printing was subpar and hidden by thick layers of paint. I can only imagine how many people Denis has let down and not supplied orders ,that were taken and not fulfilled in a timely manner, to be honest I'm quite surprised that he is still listed as a recommended vendor,as I stated last year he has lied to multiple people on here and on Facebook, along with taking far too long to make armour. In one way ,I have been lucky that I was able to fulfill my dream, others were no doubt not, which saddens me greatly..
  18. Just to let anyone who has been following my saga,I did not ever receive my armour or a refund from armoryshop props / Denis vorobiev / spiel, before he disappeared and also removed the propshop Facebook page ! I will be keeping my eye out for when he rears his head again under a different business name... however I was able to obtain / pay for another set and have gained clearance! Thanks for every ones help ,it will always be truly appreciate.
  19. Congratulations, you've been so unbelievably helpful,I couldn't of got things done without your help, well deserved fellow Justin
  20. I've heard nothing from them, other than when I asked 3 weeks ago about selling my armour to someone else and getting a refund. They said no, we'll send it when we can . I've just checked on their FB page and it's only helmets they are sending out,I'll keep you posted on any correspondence I receive though.
  21. I would like to reiterate my thanks and appreciation to all of you, you have been so very helpful ,I am eternally grateful for all your kind gestures . thank you ❤️
  22. Cheers for the heads-up,I can read their page,I'm just not allowed to comment! To be honest I wasn't expecting my order to be able to be sent any time soon, due to the war. Again ,there's not much I can do🤷‍♂️and to be quite honest, at this point I'd rather get a refund as this whole situation has been quite a s#it show..
  23. Here you go @TreeHuggerMatt these are all the pictures sent,it has to be said it took quite a while for them to be sent....I've noticed that the front panel with the buttons on is still being made to be silver on the top,for some reason 🤷‍♂️Im interested to know if they have listened to my request for the long black line not to be added on the stomach piece, as it's not found on the screen used costume!? We shall see at some point in the future. https://ibb.co/album/YB02QL
  24. * edited @TreeHuggerMatt🤷‍♂️
  25. Thanks for the pointer of reading till the end 😂.i have finally been contacted by Denis and I received a few pictures about a week ago, however due to the current situation , I have chosen to wait until a courier service can be used rather than the Russian Postal service.
