Some progress with the belt and cod...I just threw everything together for this pic. The pants didn't dye well as I see some reference w/ the under suit about the pants color although some pics w/ the darker color as the shirt is! The movie pics are darker...wear the ref pics in the pouch thread are darker....so either I darken the pants or wash the shirt a 100 time! Cameo on pants How dark should it be? You can't see any real cameo in the shirt!

I Broke out the sand paper... the Grey areas I sanded came back....I think this will be based on the individual person as to How much Weathering is to much as The Kashyyyk were in the swamp and wooded areas. The paint comes off real easy on the two bands around the wrist. I may have to do them all over!

I added some Vynal and had a friend add some paint w/ an airbrush. I think it may have came out too dark But a light sanding to give it more wear as the paint comes off and they grey vynal and greeble with show through!

Looking to to me! What do they want? Less weathering or more detail?

I trimmed a little bit of the sides and it cut like butter!

Added some weathering to the cummerbund. I used Design Master October Brown fabric spray paint. I applied it with a brush and purchased it from Micheal's.

OK Frank! Have you worked on the forehand rubber pads? I used Krazy Glue (Advanced Formula) I did not try Goop. The Krazy glue worked well!

For us short scouts just add it the glove :lol: ....It may not be accurate but I don't have all the forearm room! This is just my take. The gray vynal will cover the top of the hand. I purchased these gloves except the one I have does not have a zipper it is replaced by a very thin pad!?

OK I am working on tuning my Kashyyyk...I gave in and added the Black dye to the pants and shirt. They look a lot better..The flash made them lighter but they are darker. The armor looks a lot better against this color than just the brown color. I filled the thigh pouches with foam and added velcro. Also, I made the gray ridding patches shorter as the first one was touching my knees. I just started another cummerbund today. The only diff is it will fit me better(wider). It will not have a gap between the armor and the cummerbund as the original one was not as wide. I will have the two back pouches.

As usual...looking good...can't wait to see the armor!

You know I am interested, Probably mid summer as my wife will be a College Graduate next month! Saving that tuition! Anyway I am looking forward to an abs set, a lot lighter and flexible than the FG.

She hasn't even started the second one we we are working on!... She does all kind of odd and ends of sewing and she is backing out again. We talked and she really doesn't want to put the time in. She stated sewing the elastic takes time and you have to strech it etc. I even ask what she would charge just for 5 of them and she didn't even want to comment! Like I said it was up to her. Sorry! Once I have the second one done if anyone knows a top notch seamstress maybe I can consider sending the original one I have as a pattern!

I think those gloves are the dreaded piece! Cod may be hard, but the rubber mold may work for now! Sci-Fire has it has a hard piece. The original thread were going with a hard peice and then cloth covering it. I think hard or rubber and then paint the peice.

I think Phgfett hit the nail on the head w/ these colors...I used them on my suit and they look great!

Believe me I am working on it, Yes, it's the same person and the magic # I hinted to her was "5" this way thouse who have it can use it as a pattern for others. It's v2 for me but hopefull V1 for you guys! I will keep you posted but the seed has been plated!

Great discussions... The pouches shape is very different from the British BDU's Dosen't the BDU pants pockets set on the side were the KS is more on top front of the leg. I think the correct pouches should be a standard! Unless there will be a lancer status in the future. I used leather for the inner thigh area. I am working on a version 2 cummerbund that better fits me ...the only thing I can think of to improve on V2 is to get a two inch garrison belt that goes all the way around between the pouches. As you can see from the back it does not meet up but than again I did not attach the back two pouches which would hide this flaw! Two Back pouches missing. As long as the gloves have the correct greeblies for the standard. Lancer status would determine if its on the forearm or glove. Boots I guess we will go with whatever is most accurate since there limited in style.
