Chest is done printing and has been put together. I only printed in 2 parts.

Ok so apparently its a place holder for a snap...but that doesnt make a lot of sense lol. Oh well. Ill probably just leave it as it doesnt seem to be much of a bother. Got my boots and ammo pack in.

No its definitely not a booger. Its on the STL and has a very distinct shape. check it out

Hey all! My name is Jordan and I am with Star Garrison. I love that the shoretrooper is a growing common character within our amazing universe. This is my WIP and hope to find help, along with helping future builders. I am going for the Shoretrooper Squad Leader (Mandalorian) as of 7/17/2024 changed to Shoretrooper Squad Leader (Rogue One) and hoping I make this detachment proud. Currently I am: Printing Mr Pauls kit Abs section will be 850 Armor Works new V2 kit. Going to make my own shirt and pants thanks to some of the tutorials here on the forum: Pants obtained from a member (used IB: Keep Trooping) Boots are legit Orca Bay Helmet is from Thingiverse (one mentioned on the Shoretrooper page) No gloves as of yet and no blaster just yet....but open to suggestions. : Gloves obtained from Endor Finders I do have a question for those that have printed their Kit for Mr. Paul, as you can see in the pic below, there is a nipple or stud inside the left shoulder of the back plate, does anyone know what it is for? (Answered: Its a stud placeholder for a Snap)

Yeah i definitely dont wanna mess up lol. But i do try and study the CRL pretty hard when I am working on something. but knowing myself i will most likely mess something up during the sewing part as i am still really new at it but its all lessons learned lol.

awesome. Yeah i ordered some fabric that has the ribs and going to make a basic shirt as i have seen and add the mess where its hidden. Hopefully it comes out great and I will have saved myself a bunch of money lol. I wont be going for Level 2 so just need it to look well enough to pass GML

Ok first off, wow! this is awesome. But i do have a question. You said "this isnt approved yet" but then we have the Detachment staff pinning this to the thread. can we assume that this IS approved? also, I should be able to use the same pattern for a Tank trooper, right? just a different color material?

Ohhhhh ok. I saw that but expected the green to be darker in color when it comes to the camo. Well cool! I love the upside down T. I wonder if we can add "Versions" to this like the Gunner has. its all the same setup but has different paint schemes or little things changed here and there? hmmmm

Where are we at on this? this was 3 years ago and im about to do some searching but i dont see a CRL on this guy. Love the suit from top to bottom and would like to start working on this. If this is not a CRL yet I would love to be the one to eventually do it. but currently in the middle of a Vader build. Any info or direction to this CRL in progress would be great!

Not sure if you have bought yet or not. but I just did my SC and on the back of the visor it has the outline already there for you. I did a rough cut to get most of the plastic out, then took a sanding wheel to it till I couldn't see the line they created. worked out wonderful!

One problem I see right off is your TD hose, it is required to be Corrugated, I cant tell from the photo but it looks smooth. that wont pass basic approval

Ordered SC kit. I am 6 1 about 220 (looking to lose some weight). Do you think this is gonna be a good fit kit?

Ok all, I am going to be building a Swamp Trooper, I know that the costume belongs to the Spec Ops, but with there only being 9 swamp troopers, this question is better here, as it pertains more to the actual armor/helmet, than the build itself. My question is this, what armor/helmet should i go with. I have about 6ft 1in and about 215lbs. I added a pic of me in my jumpsuit for reference. I need to know what armor, but more so helmet, would fit me best, i dont want to have the shrunkin head build. I believe i wear about a 7 3/4 hat if that helps. Please help me guys, i dont want to look silly in my armor!
