  1. As your goal is vanguard i would say Sheev’s is the way to go Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. This exactly As one of the members who wrote the CRL, there is only so much you can write in a CRL when it comes to detail. Believe me I had the CRL thrown back at me a few times because it had to much written detail. The builders are meant to research and use the CRL as a guide whilst matching screen pictures The reason similar matching style was put in was because not everyone could get hold off or even want to pay for screen used Orca Bay Boots. We would expect similar style boots to have the same look which would include : cut shape , stitching , sole and heel and of course colour. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Welcome Jeffery The ST is a great costume build and I look forward to your build. Level 2 boots The reason we have the named boot for level 2 is because there is a clear logo seen on the heel of boot which brings it to screen accurate. Going for level 2 is a personal choice and not a requirement, some go all the way following the requirements and some go as far as they see fit and thats cool also, but to achieve level 2 status the requirements need to be achieved. Good luck with your build and if you have any questions , please just ask. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. No , you need to paint those black lines out with sharia beige, then the wash takes care of the subtle look Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Looking good Micky has pointed out he helmet already Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. It’s not a reclear , if you upgrade or swap something , you just show what you have done , an armourer or GML will give the thumbs up, it’s a very quick process. it’s just to make sure it still falls within the standards Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I do believe it shows integrity for anyone who changes their originally approved kit with improvements that is beyond the current level. Its the norm for us over in the UK, if you change anything or upgrade it , you show what you have done to make sure it is still within standards. Grandfather right is an unchanged costume and rightly so, but Once you start improving or upgrading then surely you lose grandfather rights ? You should not be able to improve one thing on a old costume whilst another is no longer acceptable ? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Hi well done so far , just a few things to note The emblem on the helmet is just painted in and not engraved Like this I can’t see if you have added the second level around the eyes like this Also I take it you ha e not added the fin greeblies at the end of the mandibles or the snout greeblie You will need to improve the rear housing so the straps fit in Like this Has your hand guards got the oblong reccess which seems to be missed out a lot Like this I am sure it’s still a working progress but I thought I would point these areas out Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Welcome Michael Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Unfortunately I don’t know the dimensions Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Put pictures up off all your kit on, front , rear , left side and right side and we can let you know if anything else needs done Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. They are looking much better , I will run them by the team and hopefully that will be you Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Much better Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Pic two is correct Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. You will find most of us have used the E11b attachment for the E22 with the bracket attached to the scope rail. This E11b has the bracket and centre bracket which we know they started adding because the scope rails were bending. However at CE and even on the hero version we can’t see the bracket on the rail. You can see below red arrow the rail with no bracket , the blue arrow I have pointed out that on the opposite side there could be some sort of bracket holding the Hengstler Even in the hero version below we can’t see the bracket on the rail A possibly is that they attached it to the lug legs on the scope It is an area that as far as I am aware we have not got any good photo evidence for the Hengstler attachment Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Very nice mate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Yes that would give a better look Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. If you look at the screen used pictures provided you can see the difference with the lever. I have put yours next to the screen used and I would say yours could be modified as at the minute the top is still very rounded, when it is actually more straight at the top. You could easily reshape yours to this. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. As discussed you need to change the shoulder buckles with the lever shape and fill in the pins Like this Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Nice one [emoji1303] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Congrats Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Apart from we know it’s not red directly from the source as in Glyn , the recommend colour is exactly just that recommended as close. You don’t have to use it as it clearly says match screen references but to help members we are giving a recommended colour Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. A reliable source was able to do a physical Mark one eye ball check with Pantone colour book, hence why It’s only a recommended colour. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Even after a few years we still can get conformation on the helmet symbol colour. It was assumed the colour was red and just weathered but Glyn has now confirmed it was more of a orangey red. This will now be a level 2 requirement so make sure when you do this you match the colour with the screen photo references, however it is recommended that Spicy Orange is close. 25. I got one of our members (Steve) to ask Glyn last night at Cardiff ref the colour and the message I got back was he could not remember so ask Dave Crossman. So I did that via Twitter but then Glyn answered that tweet He also said he did not remember the question from Steve but hay ho at least we have a orangey red from Glyn. I would say level 2 will be upgraded to orangey red to match screen photos. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
