  1. Wow, cool find, Mickey. Did you fill up Gino with a couple of drinks? When I ask him something he usually refers to the allmighty NDA ;-)
  2. Looking good, bro! But how come you have a TD and your scout is all white ;-) ?
  3. Congratulations!
  4. Congrats, well done!
  5. Thanks for the support guys! @Tim: Who would have thought that your old helmet will become Lancer before you, lol ;-) Looking forward to your app, buddy!
  6. Fantaboulous! Thank you all so much!
  7. Hi Mickey, thanks for your feedback. Please see the adjustments below: Point 1 - adjustment of mud flap lenght: Points 2 & 3: Adjustment of drop boxes and straightening of vest: Point 4: Biceps armor pulled up / arms forward Let me know if you need anything else. Cheers
  8. Ah, fantastic looking helmet. Congrats, bro! Would be interesting to see how it compares to a LW helmet side by side.
  9. Congrats, bro!
  10. Hi Kelly, Looks much better now. I've also used a piece of thin foam rubber for the lower section of the cod piece (beneath the stitching line) to avoid the 'dreaded' camel toe. Your end section where the cod piece attaches to the 50mm elastic looks just a tad bit too wide. No worries though, took me 3 attempts as well and I'm still not 100% satisfied with it. Cheers
  11. Hi Kelly, your CB looks good and I also like the "puffy" stlye. However, you might wanna give it a more tapered fit starting from the lower end of the belt. Yours goes straight down and only becomes tapered at the stitched section. Cheers
  12. Hi Bro, nice catch. However, I don't think they would be permitted as the ribs are not tightly spaced, they're missing the faux suede patches and as you already noted the zippers and wrist straps would have to be removed. Cheers
  13. Thx, bro. The weathering approach used for the scout is really completely different from weathering a sandy so there was definitively a learning curve there ;-)
  14. Dear CS-Team, first off, thanks for the swift approval of my pathfinder status. It has been great fun working on the gear to try to get it as accurate as possible. Thanks for your time and consideration! Armor: Chef Bucket: MLC_v3 Gloves: Wampa Boots: Marcel Flightsuit: UK motorcycle dealer/ selfmade leather parts Cummerbund/Codpiece: Selfmade Pouches: Selfmade
  15. No, it was also about quite a few other helmets from ANH, such as the Jawbone, cheesegrater, Tie etc.. Pretty much all the stuff he's offering on his website.
  16. Well, by my reckoning and based on the LFL/Ainsworth lawsuit they should be safe given that they are based in the UK. The ruling back then was that those costume parts were not "sculptures" (70 years copyright) but "industrial design" (15 years copyright which already expired).
  17. Just cancelled my order from last October. My place would have been 67 and be in the 4th wave. But given that the first wave is now overdue for almost a year I don't want to stress myself for another 4 years. Their constantly moving timelines have passed "ridicoulous" a long time ago. Last picture we saw was from January and all that's left were the decals to attach. If it takes them a couple of months to attach some lousy decals I don't even want to estimate how long it may take to form and assemble yet another wave of helmets (provided that the first wave ever gets dispatched). Ah, I feel relieved now ;-)
  18. Thanks for your input, bro. It's all good, I just like to experiment a bit trying to push it a bit further So, I decided to leave the new pouches white this time with just a little weathering because I think it fits better to the overall appearance.
  19. You'll have to do the suede patches/straps and mud flap yourself. But if your located in AUS shipping costs may be probitively expensive... Cheers
  20. No, not that one. I don't think they're promoting it on their site. Just send them an email and ask for a bikerscout flight/jump suit.
  21. Yup, check out "advanced-wear.co.uk". I've got my flight suit there (made to measure) and they offer great quality. Cheers
  22. Yep, just meant to second it ;-) I thought you were referring to the picture I posted. True, the one from Chef is curious. But then again, do we know where this came from?
  23. Actually, if you zoom in real close you can see that there's also the white cod piece behind the belt I'm rather new at the BSN so I don't want to play the wise guy but if I had a say I would opt for visual screen accuray (regardless of how the effect was achieved). Cheers
  24. Thanks, bro. Took me 3 attempts to get it about right Good thing was I didn't have to do the cummerbund again as it's separate.
