Thanks brotha, the side strapping was my least favorite part of my last scout. I hated that I always needed someone to help me in and out of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I really wanted the area under my shoulder to be snug and clean so I ran some extra ABS underneath it but over the Velcro bridge and strap. This way it gives me clean area to attach my zip tie anchor. I am currently gluing down the other side of the ABS bridge and I will post some more pics of it all done. I made a little belt loop for the back of my armor and sewed some Velcro on the strap that goes around to connect to the front. I allows me to slip my armor on without completely detaching the straps and then once it is on I can reach back and Velcro it snug. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I’m about to sew the back drop box straps to my belt and I want to make sure the gapping between the boxes and the belt looks good, as well as the spacing between the buckles in the front Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Im happy with the look of the sew line on the chest strap so far Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Ok cool, any chance you got a picture of your shoulders from a side view. I think I know what you mean. Does the cut part come out from the bottom or over the top. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I sewed these for my shoulder straps but I remember Mickey saying in the pathfinder video on YouTube that the new way is a strip instead of a loop, so I’m going to sew up some loops that look like strips..... hopefully. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I got the belt glued down with e6000 over night. I also got the thermal det belt clips painted. I riveted the belt clips with an bigger sized washer on the Inside of the tube so hopefully it helps prevents pull through. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

God point, i was planning on folding the strap over on itself to create the look and then treat it as a normal strap going through the slit and sew Velcro to it. It will hopefully act as a normal strap. It’s going to be a lot of trail and error I guess[emoji1696][emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

But how?[emoji23]lol. I guess some things are as simple as the look. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

That’s pretty cool, I figured that if we can get the size down perfect then we can save the file and print them out to fellow scouts in the future to save them money. It would cost us next to nothing to print. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Great advice, I remember the caps on my last build were a pain in the butt and there was some glue showing which always bothered me but I covered it with weathering, which I don’t want to do this time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I think tomorrow I’m going to come up with some plan to get this stitch line into the strap, it almost looks like the strap is folded back on itself. Anyone have an idea on this? I know it’s not a requirement, but I want to add as much details as I can. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I also got my clips Installed on my therm det, I found these clips a bit cheaper on Amazon, they have the correct shape but I still have to paint them black. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I did a little work tonight, updated the red line on the top of the tank so that it extends on the sides of the knobs. I also got the line decal and trapezoid decal in place. The rank bar decals that came with the SC kit are a little skinny for the hero costume so my wife said she will attempt to make me some thicker ones tomorrow on her vinyl machine. It’s one of those cricket things so hopefully it will works. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Thanks a million, I greatly appreciate it. Did you just pour it in thick and let it self level?
