I found 2 different kinds. Off white and white. Says 100% cotton. Called sail cloth in translation. Would this cloth be accepted by 501st. Japanese is called ãƒãƒ³ãƒ—. I found a tailor to make it for 90$

Is it just one big sheet of duck cloth just with velcro added and lines stitched in? Or is it two separate pieces sewn together? I am going to print out a big a sheet with measurements and take it to a tailor to have it made. MOD EDIT MOVED TO THE CORRECT SECTION

Amazingly my suit is from KS. However the cummerbund was supposed to be included but said it as a padded shirt which wasn't included

Aww thanks. I'll avoid them. There is a big cloth/sewing district 30mins from my place by train. I swear I can't find marine vinyl and will look for duck cloth today. I been calling marine suppliers looking for vinyl.

I'm in Japan. I've been trying to get my suit made for awhile now. Always other things that happen that hinder this. I'm a big biker scout fan. My gf at first thought I was odd but now slowly shares my enthusiasm.

I found a place called evolution props. They claim their cummerbunds are movie accurate. Does anyone know if it's acceptable for the 501st?

Yes. I saw photos with the black sued patches. I looked everywhere for black suits (very hard to find in jpn). I'll pick up a suit and modify it. Thanks.

Thanks a lot for the mod advice! The Dickies are at Costco for 50$. Other is at a home center for 30. It sounds like the dickies pair needs more work, so probably best to get the other suit.

Hello. I am trying to get a hold of or modify a flight suit that my gf recently found at a hardware/home center here in Japan. I also saw a black suit (Dickies brand) at Costco recently. I will try and post pictures to get any advice if it is possible to modify it. Thank you.
