Would 15cm strips be enough to hold the cummerbund or would full strips be better?

hmm..i thought maybe its the tint of my light. outside most pieces seem to be as white as my shirt.

Has anyone ever heard of armor developing a light purple hue due to air exposure?

Nope. I haven't attached anything yet, nothing to bleed into. When I got the armor it was white. My other pieces were closed up tight. It has a faint lavender hue I took a pic , how can I post on mobile?

Just pulled my armor out from my bed box. it has a light purple tint to it, is there anyway to change it back to the white color?

At least you should have a much easier time finding a boot than I am. I'm in Japan..all the boots with one sole color are from Timberland and too pricey.

Marine vinyl is VERY hard to find in Japan. It isnt sold by any fabric store, i found this after many calls (leather associations..plastic..etc) I started calling different boat shops also, eventually finding a yacht design company for seat fabric. All of the scouts in Japan garrison had their boots shipped from outside of Japan. They said to buy fake leather, which isnt that thick here. My worry is that this may or may not get approval, so I posted the picture to get opinions. Thanks^

I'm very curious if there are any first order scouts. We know there are storm troopers and snow troopers of the first order. Anyone know if there are scouts too?

I saw these today while looking around for a balaclava. I wonder if either of the soles would work as a good base. Same shoe just different color soles.

I did try the entire fabric district in Nippori, nada. They didn't even know where i could get marine vinyl. The man on the phone at the yacht company knew exactly what i meant. It did help that he spoke English. You would think that It could be found in home centers, I went to a massive home center yesterday in the stix..they had leather vinyl for normal upholstery but not marine grade.

The company designs all kinds of yachts (super,mega custom..etc). I was very surprised to get an email from the company president today, it was pretty cool. He asked If i need the material for a boat. So..I said not a boat but for making boots for Biker scouts. I mentioned the 501st and garrisons all over the world, including Japan. (The 501st members here do commercials for big name companies, Disney as well as occasional events)

After many many calls (from leather vendors to pvc and marine boat suppliers all over Japan) I found a shop that can probably sell me white marine grade vinyl. It is not an easy material to get in Japan, as fabric shops or home centers don't carry it. It costs a lot to ship to Japan.

I paid around 800 ish. $
