Hi Stefan! If you look in the Trade Forum Marcel4505 and several others have bunds and boots and are located in the UK. Best to you and Viel Spaß! -Peter

I've had a good time here in the Florida Garrison's AO. My son got to meet Lord Vader at Legoland: and I saw a group of our fellow scouts chasing some Rebel scum: I'm heading home tomorrow to the Dewback Ridge Garrison in New Mexico but we made all sorts of memories here in Florida. Not looking forward to catching the Southwest Transport to leave this system but duty calls.....and I have armor to build
-
Hi Tim! Have you had the chance to talk with members of the Dewback Ridge? Check in with BrotherHalo, or shoot him a PM from the Garrison forum, he's a Pathfinder and I bet he can turn you on to several of the Lancers from that Garrison and they can give you pointers on getting your gear improved.

That's a good point Forrest but it will be a lot of fun to take something like this and mod it over to a scout sniper or something similar. I have good access to a lot of yard sales as well so I'll be checking around there first.

Those are great add-ons! You got me rethinking how I want this to look. Thanks for the ideas!

Thanks Stasz! We just had a blast today! I have great respect for those who troop in this climate! There's no where you can hide from the wet. I tip my bucket to the troopers of the East Coast garrisons!

I checked the sizing and it complies with the width measurement. Thanks Chef and hope your move goes swimmingly!

Thanks for answering this Stasz! Sorry about not getting an answer out sooner I am on vacation in Orlando, FL with my wife and boys (no not Disneyworld:) taking a little time away from the deserts of New Mexico. I expect to have a full mailbox though when I get home with all sorts of goodies to move forward on my build.

mmmmmmmm.....Ewoks -
I was thinking of doing a mod to this type. Maybe change the muzzle, clip, remove forward handle and of course change the scope. What do you all think?

Is this cotton suitable for Lancer?

Thanks Kevin! That's great to hear. While I'm enjoying building my boots and gathering the soft armor and associated accouterments I'm really looking forward to the armor build.
-
How long is the wait for SC armor? That's my #1 choice for my bucket and armor but I won't be able to order until Oct/Nov time frame.

I snagged mine for $19.00 from the local Kmart. I've sent items to Japan and I know it isn't cheap unless you have an APO. -

Who makes a good flight suit and vest?
Retrofire replied to tidalforce's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout HQ
Looking forward to getting my suit and vest from Gabe! He contacted me today with all the info. Just need to get the measurement email so I can get those off to him. -

You're looking great and I've been following you for encouragement (and bleeding stories) especially with my cursed boots . Maybe talk to one of the armorers or Pandatrooper they're all really pros at making the SC armor look awesome no matter what! I still can't wait to see your approval pics so get to work Pathfinder! -

It's looking great Jim! You'll be showing your pre-approval pics before you know it! -

Yes, they are merely flesh wounds and we both could still beat up a teddy bear with our other hands while dodging trees on our bikes! The price for being a Pathfinder! Uhh you might want to put some Neosporin on that...... -
Lesson learned Forrest....the hard way. Thankfully I'm smart enough to keep away from everyone when I'm cutting the soles. I just dorked it and did one of those things where your brain says "this probably isn't a good idea" and got bit. Thanks for the scene it made me laugh....at myself
-
Glad I'm not alone. No, it was not big deal just wasn't paying attention to what I was doing and it bit me. It doesn't hurt as much as I feel like a doofus for not paying attention like I had been on all the other cuts. It'll heal and I'll finish these boots if I have to run into a tree to do it! Thanks brothers!

So in the course of trimming my Lancer soles I wacked myself pretty good with an X-Acto. So in order to help with the completion I've asked Chrisx909x to help with sewing the vinyl tops for me and I'll finish the assembly myself after my hand heals a little bit. I'll be replacing one of the toes since it *ahem* got a little stained. Now I know what it means to "bleed" for my armor. At least it was the vinyl and not my hard armor! All is well and more to come with this thread with the toe assembly completion.

Toe pieces in progress. Of course I get to my second stretch iteration and a thunderstorm decides to move through . I borrowed a sewing machine from my mother in law for the calf and dogbone so I'm starting to practice on scrap pieces.
