We've all been there Nathan and I'm glad you took a breather and jumped back into it. We're behind you 100% so keep up the great work!

The struggle is real! May your BBB day come soon trooper!

Rotate those biceps around a little and move them up they are a smidge too far back and a little low. Then bring your forearms down a little so they sit over the top of your gauntlet by about half. That way those two pieces won’t rub and give you the armor pinches! You’re looking really good Nathan! Nice Work!

Pathfinders, the Election Portal link is active BUT it will not be accessible until Feb 1, 2021 when nominations open. Nomination and Voting Link: https://www.501st.com/elections/

Hey Nathan while I applaud your diligence in wanting to build to Lancer spec remember that the sleeve length is not an issue for basic approval. You’ll need basic before you apply for Lancer so don’t let that impact your submission if you’re ready. You can always work the Lancer upgrades after you’re approved. Just some food for thought. You are doing just great so keep it up!

I see that on my wife’s boots from time to time. Here’s a good article that might be of help. https://www.leather-dictionary.com/index.php/Fatty_spue_-_Fat_marks_on_leather

You can do it! We can help! We’re here if you need so don’t hesitate to shout out!

You need time to heal up trooper so take it and don't push yourself! Once you're back in the pink you can get those pics done and submitted. We're always here for you if you need us.

Adding a handy visual of the election process created by ID-17387 of the UKG. https://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=108091

Yeah that’s a bummer but at least he provided a refund. With COVID raging around the world there are quite a few bottlenecks and things have just gotten slower. We have a host of talented vendors in the Trade forum that you can work with for your soft goods you might want to check out before committing to IB. It might also be worth it to post up in the CCG forums as well to see who might be able to help you sew your own. I know it’s frustrating but don’t let this setback derail ya. There are plenty of options and plenty of folks that can help get you back on track.

Adding additional links available on the 501st boards. General Elections 2021 Social Media and Harassment - https://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=287&t=108090 General Elections 2021 Procedural and Technical Queries - https://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=287&t=108087 General Elections 2021 PINs, Voting Method, and FAQs - https://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=287&t=108086 General Elections 2021 and the Legion Member Database - https://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=287&t=108085 Note that this last one is very important! On February 1st, 2021 12:01AM GMT units will NOT be able to modify the member db to change a member status from Active, Reserve, or Retired. Keep in mind that only Active members can vote in the elections as discussed in my first post. I would recommend that all Pathfinders review their member status via the 501st site and check their membership status, active costumes, and detachment affiliations and make any updates necessary prior to the end of the month. Ad hastam dormire faciet!

That’s looking just fine Nathan! Remember that any gapping will be filled in with your flight suit and vest. You’re moving along just fine!

Maybe give the Shoretrooper Soft Armor Forum a look through? You might find some more resources there for vendors. http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/forum/153-shoretrooper-soft-parts/ Looks like you’re moving right along with the armor and paint! Keep up the great work!

I think I found the best wire for the TD tube
Retrofire replied to FoxTrooper's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
I do every time. A couple of times I’ve gotten bit by the weight causing it to fall off when I’m clowning around for the audience but unless I’m in an ocean of little ones (who delight in snagging off my belt) I wear it. I just don’t like to be out of uniform. -
Congrats Pathfinder!

You’re not alone Jeremy. We’ve all been there at one time and you’re doing great! Keep asking those great questions and plugging away at it and you’l be done before you know it. You should be proud of what you’ve accomplished so far.

It is that time of year again… Elections! As Imperial Citizens and Pathfinders, it is your duty to vote! Links will be updated as they become available. Elections Information All information about the elections can be found in the Legion Operations Protocol. This includes how the election is run, timeframes, and qualifications and limitations to run for a position. Operations Protocol: Section 3 Elections Who can vote? For Elections, all Active Members may vote and run for a position if they meet the standards in the Legion Charter and the Operations Protocol (review the Qualifications and Limitations). Reserve and Retired members are NOT able to vote or run for a position. NOTE: With COVID-19 impacting trooping in 2020 there might be some of you that missed the census and have gone into Reserve status. If this has occurred you will not be able to vote in the 2021 elections. I would recommend that if is this your situation that you reach out to your GCO and work to get that resolved prior to elections opening. Also be sure to review your 501st profile (member db) and ensure that you show active for the Pathfinders (and any other detachment you are a member of) or you will not be able to vote for that Detachment's DL Time Frames Times in the Operations Protocol are listed in GMT. Please be aware of that, especially when voting. Nominations start the Monday before the first Saturday in February. (Monday, February 1 – Friday, February 5) Question-and-answer phase will be open for 5 days beginning on Saturday and concluding at 11:59pm GMT on Wednesday. (Saturday, February 6 – Wednesday, February 10). Thursday is reserved for candidates' closing statements. (Thursday, February 11) Voting will open at 12:01am GMT on the Friday following closing statements and be available for 5 days, ending at 11:59pm GMT on the following Tuesday. (Friday, February 12 – Tuesday, February 16) Positions being voted on Active 501st members may vote for the Legion Commanding Officer, Garrison Commanding Officer, Squad Leader (only Squad Members), and Detachment Leaders (for detachments you belong too – see information below). Legion Commanding Officer (LCO) – Currently held by Ingeli Hedberg. This position oversees the Legion as a whole. Garrison Commanding Officer (GCO) – This position oversees the Garrison as a whole and has a seat on Legion Council. Squad Leader (SL) – This position oversees the Garrison Squads and reports to the Garrison Commanding Officer. Only members of the Squad can vote on this position. Detachment Leaders (DL) – Currently held by Mickey Bukowski (Bikerscout007). Every member should belong to the detachment that oversees their active costume(s). If the member shows Active with their Detachment in the Membership Database, they can vote for the Detachment Leader. Q&A Period If multiple people are running for the same seat, there will be a Q&A period where members can ask questions that will then be answered by those that are running. This is for all positions. For LCO – This will be on the Legion Forums (https://www.501st.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=168) These are normally moderated by the Legion Captain of the Guard. For GCO & SL (if applicable) – This will take place on your Garrison forums For DL – This will be here within the detachment forum for active Pathfinders only. As the Det CoG the role of moderator falls to me. It is time for nominations and to vote – now what? Nominations: Members may nominate active and qualifying members on the voting webpage. Once a member is nominated, they will require another member to second them. The option to second someone will appear below the nomination box. The member that was nominated/seconded then has the option to accept, decline, or do nothing. If the members are accepts, they are in the running for the position. It is possible to have no nominations for a position. If this happens, the previous person will continue on by default. As a common courtesy, please speak to a member before you nominate or second them to verify if they want to run for the position. Voting: The Legion uses a Single Transferable Vote (STV) method for voting. Every eligible voter, in respect of each respective candidate, may cast a single vote that is ranked from their most preferred to their least preferred candidate. The candidate with the fewest votes is eliminated and each vote given to that candidate is transferred to other remaining candidates according to the respective eligible voter's states ranked preferences, in proportion to any surplus or discarded votes. The process is repeated by calculation to arrive at a winner that holds more than half of the votes thus cast.

Mickey's probably going to sic the ISB on me for knowing Rebel costumes😄
-
Looking at those "extra bund parts" makes think they have nothing to do with the bund. You mentioned that he got an orange flight suit too so that makes me think those are pilot gators for a rebel pilot. The gators I made for my Endor Commando look exactly like those pieces. Both the A and Y-wing costumes use that type and color of gators.

The best way we’ve found is by using Tapatalk. You can snap a photo on your device and then just drop it into the forum post. On the main forum most folks use a hosting service like imgur. You can get tapatalk for free at either the Google Play or Apple stores.

I used a standard sewing machine with a heavy duty denim needle.

Retrofire replied to jwnikita's topic in Lancer Deployment Request
That’s good to hear. Yes. The pouch material will work just fine. Just want to hit that 6x5x2 measurement.
