  1. Hi Dave and thank for the patience! It takes us time to sort through the photos against the CRL lvl2 specs as well as judge the look of the applicant so that's why it takes a bit of time. All that said we've finished your review and if you're ready here we go: Helmet The bolts are incorrect and will need to be replaced with the 3M variety. These bolts do not have concave centers. Helmet bolts are Gray 3M bolts or other replicas with concave centers. (Visible bolt head diameter of 22mm). Helmet bolts Fibre-Metal by Honeywell FM4001 Quick-Lok Helmet Adapter Kit (these bolts are identical to the 3M Speedglas bolts and they are available in the correct shade of gray) https://www.amazon.com/Fibre-Metal-Honeywell-FM4001-Quick-Lok-Adapter/dp/B002BUMS8Y/ref=psdc_7491811011_t1_B015MG1SMK?fbclid=IwAR0A2QyyDYSMHR5Sh64p7_d1JGEe8DjJNHuuVtbOzABbufXA3Mah_jJiTSM With the headband kit: https://headgear.weldinghelmet.biz/fibre-metal-hard-hat-3rc-headgear-replacement-suspension.html?fbclid=IwAR1UQJ0mxXKuyng07EUXrtGDST5Gf7ltES7QRfQvAeh1QcfG3HUV0DBbqwI Accurate TB Helmet Hardware kit & Headband kit http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/topic/10270-fs-accurate-tb-helmet-hardware-kit-headband-kit/ Flight Suit Bunching in the legs, will need some tailoring to bring it in. Undersuit is tailored to the wearer. Shoulder Armor Bring in shoulder bells approx 3/4" to 1" Upper Arm Armor In the pictures your bicep armor is on the wrong arms. The "dots" are facing backwards. They should be facing forwards. T-bit circle detail piece faces forward on each arm. Vest Sleeves appear to exceed 1.5" past edge of shoulder bell. Can you verify this measurement? Vest sleeves extend no further than 1.5 inches past the bottom edge of the shoulder bell. Cummerbund Bund appears to be tucked in to the belt. Ideally bund should sit on top of the belt. This typically happens during dressing. Recommend putting on your belt then "seating" the bund on top before dressing your chest/back armor. Codpiece Cod crunchies. Needs to add stiffener and/or loosen the crotch strap a bit. Codpiece does not bunch excessively around groin area. Belt Drop box straps in back meet outside edges of detonator, ideally they should meet closer to the center of the det box. You will also need to raise the height of your boxes to 2.5cm from the belt Drop boxes hang approximately 1 inch from the belt. Blaster Need close up photos of blaster, including front and back OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Scope eyepiece has stepped circular grooves like the original. Scope has no actual lens. No decals representing cross hairs or similar. No drilled barrels. The screen used ones did not have drilled barrels. You've done an outstanding job on all the rest of the items and they are good to go. If you have any questions or need any clarifications myself and @Chopper are always available to help. You're almost there just some items to address to get you over the finish line!
  2. Hi Chris! I don’t think it’s too sharp but you can knock the edges back with some sandpaper if you’re feeling uncomfortable with the look. I think that most folks are used to the various vendors that pull armor and sometimes those pulls can come out a little soft and their edges are softer than a 3D print. Take a look through the Armor comparison thread here and you can see what the various kits look like. If you do have further concerns I would reach out to your local GML in the Alpine Garrison here: https://ut501st.com/ . Keep up the great work!
  3. You didn't break a needle? That's awesome! The thigh straps should be snug to your thighs and not drape so you might want to do a fitting to be sure. We've seen a few that are too loose to pass. Just an FYI🙂 This is looking really amazing Melody! Keep it up!
  4. @MrPoopie and/or @BikerScout007 can you help this recruit with his printing question? Thanks very much!
  5. Thanks Dave! We appreciate your willingness to work with us and for the additional photos. We should be done with the review soon so hang in there!
  6. Outstanding! Thank you to everyone involved in completing this and making it go live!
  7. Thanks Dave those are spot on. One more request and I’ll leave you be. Can you please take some close up photos of your helmet bolts? Don’t worry about the measuring tape or anything just the bolts. Thanks very much for your patience and help Dave!
  8. Outstanding post Arne! Remember that we’re always here for you and remember to use your sources in the German garrison as well. @M.J is our resident master tailor so reach out to her if you got a sewing question.
  9. Happy lifeday to you, happy lifeday to you, it's time for you to start a build threddddddddddd🎵 and you can do that right hereeeeeeee......🎵 http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/forum/96-biker-scout-wip/
  10. Hi Dave one pic we are missing is one of the top of your tank. Can you take a snap that is looking down on your tank topper please? We need to verify the look and placement. We're working through your app and should have it done soon. Thanks!
  11. Thank you so very much for adding the new photos it is greatly appreciated!
  12. Hi Dave and thank you for your application! Your photos are fine but it looks like each one has doubles. Can you go through them and add the opposite side parts like the biceps, forearms, knees, etc? Thanks very much and we’ll be in touch as soon as we can.
  13. I think those boots look great and I don’t think you have to worry about that lump at all. Once you start trooping those boots you going to get all sorts of wear in and flex so it will just become more of the personality and weathering of your boots. I think you’re doing a great job! Keep it up!
  14. The “one color” reference is to the lvl2 spec for the ROTJ biker scout. The CRL states that the soles of the boots are tan so I think you’re fine here. The boots are heavily weathered so all those pristine surfaces will soon be covered in a layer of dust and dirt. If you are concerned I might be a good idea to run it past your GML just to be sure they will be ok with it.
  15. Cheesewhoopy has a great tutorial and you did a great job on those boots! Keep it up and let us know if you need anything.
  16. The filler at the back is starting to look good. Nice work there! I’d go with the 3M bits for the helmet. That will give you much more allowance for adjusting once you get it all together. Here’s a list to help you find them. Fibre-Metal by Honeywell FM4001 Quick-Lok Helmet Adapter Kit (these bolts are identical to the 3M Speedglas bolts and they are available in the correct shade of gray) https://www.amazon.com/Fibre-Metal-Honeywell-FM4001-Quick-Lok-Adapter/dp/B002BUMS8Y/ref=psdc_7491811011_t1_B015MG1SMK?fbclid=IwAR0A2QyyDYSMHR5Sh64p7_d1JGEe8DjJNHuuVtbOzABbufXA3Mah_jJiTSM With the headband kit: https://headgear.weldinghelmet.biz/fibre-metal-hard-hat-3rc-headgear-replacement-suspension.html?fbclid=IwAR1UQJ0mxXKuyng07EUXrtGDST5Gf7ltES7QRfQvAeh1QcfG3HUV0DBbqwI Accurate TB Helmet Hardware kit & Headband kit http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/topic/10270-fs-accurate-tb-helmet-hardware-kit-headband-kit/
  17. If you find that doesn’t help you might want to scuff up the boot tops with some sandpaper to give the adhesive a purchase to grip on to. If there is waterproofing or manufacturing chems on the boots the glue may not be able to get a good grip. Hopefully the E6000 will work for you though!
  18. I’m not sure I’m understanding what you mean by Eva foam but I just cut out a block of low density foam the size of my pouches and inserted them inside to keep the pouch shape. When I started carrying my MP3 player so I could have chatter playing I needed more room so I added a cardboard form. This kept the shape of the pouch and gave me room to store things. Which I think backfired as all the TKs in my garrison ask me to hold their stuff now😅
  19. I can confirm @Chopper with regard to the SC holster. The hyper firm I originally had fit perfectly but my replacement DVH blaster was loose and rattles around so I had to add magnets and some Velcro.
  20. Those are looking really great Jenny! Nice work! I used foam for awhile in my pouches but I ended up using cardboard to make an insert so I could keep things in there.
  21. Hi Melody! That rivet looks a little large to me and I think it needs to be smaller @Chopper can weigh in here as well as he’s got a great eye. Check out this thread on the rivets that @BikerScout007 did on them.
  22. Excellent work Pathfinder! Make sure you update your profile and post up in the access thread. Once again well done!
