  1. We have all dealt with accidental tears! Welcome to the forest good sir you're among friends.
  2. This is the standard, each body type is different. You just need to make sure the pouches are lancer size and there's a correct number of lines on the front of your cummerbund. Other than that they typically sit about your front oblique area. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  3. Hey there, sorry it's taken a minute, do you still want to build Kashyyyk Trooper? Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  4. Right away I can tell you that you will want to smooth out the bumps for the wraps around your leg armor. That should be smooth and then you will want to get and actual cotton webbing to wrap around the armor. The adjustments aren't to hard there's just small things here and there. The biggest concern that makes just going the galactic armory route is finding all the extra stuff like the silicone belt that goes at the bottom of the cummerbund and the silicone pieces for the bicep piece and some of the strapping. Although the strapping can be mimicked with craft foam.
  5. Don't give up. There are work around. If your pretty decent at fixing 3D files you can smooth out the areas that need to be smoothed and it should work. Some of the problem spots are like 007 pointed out the biceps. The two biceps are different, I believe he fixed that issue and now offers the biceps with the correct detail. The biggest issue I have seen with his files is how the legs have the straps built onto the file where it should be smooth there and you need a greeblie for the inside and the outside of the leg armor. The foot armor shape also looks somewhat off to me as well. If you can adjust the models to the galactic armory file I can talk you through the changes.
  6. I would say get a hold of Bikerchick and see if you could get a replacement.
  7. Crowprops now offers the gloves, the boots, the pouches and the cummerbund. I'm talking with him about the undersuite and pants.
  8. That's up to your GML. The largest benefit of the kalevala visor is the reflective nature. Most kashyyyk Troopers get their visor from that source. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  9. Hey there, welcome to pathfinders! We have quite a few kashyyyk Troopers on here. Let me know if you have any questions. It's great to have you. As for the visor, you want to go to kalevalavisors.com and purchase the emerald visor. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk

  15. Yes please do. Text me any time I'm happy to answer any questions. This is kind of a complex costume and I'm happy to help in any way I can. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  16. I tell people my kit ran about 1400 to 1500. Thats a typical price. It varies depending on what you do, electronics going into it or doing everything yourself vs buying the plastic. Sewing everything up vs buying ready made parts. My biker scout was roughly the same cost. The least expensive is probably bridge crew. You just need jumpsuit, belt, and boots. 17. She's really great to work with I've communicated with her on multiple occasions. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  18. From the way the file looks, the biceps still haven't been fixed. There should be two cylinders in the left arm band instead of just one. The bands going around the bicep pieces shouldn't be built onto the files they need to be silicone that wraps around the bicep pieces. There should be no vents underneath the eyes and there shouldn't be any bumps above the visor slot that should be completely smooth. The straps on the legs that are built onto the file also needs to be smoothed out. There are also two trapezoidal indents in the back of the helmet that needs to be smoothed. On the knees there should be grooves that lay on the bend lines that make the shape of the knees. The forearm pieces are the wrong shapes. The cod needs to be wider and the boot tops are the incorrect shape as well. The CRL has fantastic images and descriptions of how everything needs to look. If you have questions about specific parts on this download I can help you to the best of my ability. Know that here at the detachment we can only give you guidance the people who will actually approve you is your local GML in your garrison. These are just issues that I have seen that are contrary to the information found in the CRL. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  19. https://www.etsy.com/listing/792993353/kashyyyk-clone-trooper-armor-3d-print these files still have issues. If you know of another file download please post. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  20. There are still issues with the files for both BF2 and ROTS approval. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  21. The main reason why I suggest to people that they go with Bikerchicks kit is because they kit is a great kit and also the inclusion of all the straps and greeblies that you would need for the different parts. Like the belt, the straps for the biceps the forearms and the knees, the greeblies for the leg pieces. The kit is pricey but worth it. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
  22. Here's some more comparisons of the 2 Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
