The discussion about this helmet has gone around this forum for at least a year now. About this time last year we discussed it and there wasn't anyone that had taken the bate on this helmet. As mentioned before, buyer beware on ebay. All I can say is that this helmet isn't proven unless someone has it.
Yeah I can just add that I've purchased a DC-15s from Lewis and a Scout Blaster. Both have been shipped promptly, are beautiful, and communications were on point. Good luck with your blaster.
Yeah most of the supplies come with it. Only things you need have been mentioned. Rivets, washers, rivet gun, and some e6000. Clamps to hold down some stuff.
Coming up on almost 20 troops with my scout and the gloved de-lined, I think it was a great move and recommend it to anyone that isn't trooping in cold weather all the time.
All pros as far as I can say with the armor. Great service and fast turn around. Great explanation for the armor build. I can't comment on the helmet because I went for the fiberglass MLC. I've heard that the SC helmet is a little smaller than the other ABS ones like KS. Good luck on your build.
I have the SC armor approved. It's great. I bought an MLC helmet because I wanted fiberglass instead of ABS. From what I've seen, the SC helmet is approvable with no problem.
