  1. Very nice! For Lancer you wanna shorten the vest sleeves and maybe tighten them up maybe starighten the back and cheat up. That's all I can see right now.
  2. It may just be me ,but it looks a bit on the long side. I'm 6'5" and my bund is only 10" tall.
  3. This! I recently trimmed my MC chest and back straps down. It gave the chest piece a nice rise at the bottom along with letting everything set in place better.
  4. There's really not a model number anymore. The picture Aaron posted above is what you want. It's a pipeliners helmet hardware. That's what all the welding supply stores call em. If you have a welding shop such as Mathison or so on in your area they will more than likely have what you want.
  5. Amazon is a no go for what your looking for. Those welder headbands are for the new style welding hoods. What your looking for is the OG headband used in pipeliners helmets. Which I have some with the band. However your not gonna get the headband to work correctly in the ALT because of the size.
  6. Looking good! I hate to be a joy kill however if Lancer is in your thoughts you might wanna scale your pouches down. I know the chest piece is to long and it mess everything up. I've dealt with the same thing. Nobody but one person makes a accurate sized chest. Now you can trim the shoulder straps down. I recently did a MC kit that way and it turned out nice. All in all man your on point! Keep it up!
  7. You can straighten the bottom up just don't remove it
  8. Put that sucker on and give us a look. 98% of the biker scout is soft parts and how they fit to your body.
  9. Leave it. You take that bottom edge off it isn't gonna look right. It'll more less set flat. You want that rise. The screen used ones had it. Most folks over look how the chest actual sets. The chest is actually small and shorter than most think. I highly doubt there's a inch between the chest armour and neck. I modded my MC to set closure to my neck and shorter so the pouches can hang right. This is one reason I've never went Lancer.
  10. Welcome. Yes SC is a great set of armour.
  11. Nice! I like the DP's when they've been modified. They make a nice helmet.
  12. I wish I could help. However I've never put together one of Chefs kits. Maybe someone who has will chime in. Anyway I could get a picture?
  13. Looks good man! Nice and clean!
  14. Looks good. I'd leave a hair more on the front.
  15. Sounds good. You'll be able to take some off a few areas but not much. Armour differs from vendor to vendor. Return edges and lips are always different.
  16. Very Nice! The weathering is great!
  17. I don't see anything wrong. Looks good!
  18. This! I wear a 44 tall in a dress coat. In the redkap it's a 44 Long. Chunk knows...Chunk knows....
  19. My go to is satin. However I do like the effect I get with gloss and super fine steal wool. Gives it a true metal look.
  20. Well it depends on what blaster. Most can be lightly weathered. Some semi gloss and satin in color. It comes down to the costumes and what blaster you have. Also your GML.
  21. I'd try and find a pair of elevator bolts to bind the visor to the dome. Then take the 3M bolts and cut the back off and glue them to the elevator bolts heads. The 3M bolt are pretty weak and will snap in the middle very easy.
  22. Honestly what I do is leave a gap between the lens and visor at the very bottom on the nose. If it's done half right nobody will tell.
  23. As for the visor bolts. What are you using?
