Here you go.
-
Looking good. If your gonna have off white pouches the drop box strapping and chest and back strapping needs to be off white also. I'm sure you already knew that. Keep it up.

Stroker replied to theenglishdjentleman's topic in Scout Trooper: "The Mandalorian" HQ
Yes and yes. The helmets are EFX. Some wanna argue that the helmets are Walts also, but they aren't. -
Congratulations! Welcome to the Rank!

Burpo's Scout Build - SC Armor / Altmann Helmet (Lancer)
Stroker replied to Burpo's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout WIP
The belt is slid down a little. It needs to come up. The boxes look pretty good. You bring the belt up and the boxes will be pretty close to where they need to be. -
Just before the knee. As in the knee itself just as you have done.
-
I think itll be fine for Lancer. Its looks much better!

Devcon is kinda a pain to work with. I've used it on over 10 helmets. Both 5 piece helmets and cap and back style helmets. It tends to leave more pits and imperfections than bondo and other fillers. However it's the best I've found and the only thing I'll use for a helmet.
-
The imperfections are hard to get away from. Your gonna have to add more devcon in order to fill in as many imperfections as possible. That's about all you can do it apply, sand, repeat.
-
Your cooking now! As was stated you take care of the stitching on the flaps and I'd call the pouches done! Great job!

Sanding tips after using Devcon Plastic Weld

Keep it as smooth as possible now so when it comes time to sand it'll be a little easier. -
Sanding tips after using Devcon Plastic Weld
Stroker replied to mickeymark34's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
It takes some work I do know that. Sand, rest, repeat. That's about the best advice I can give along with keeping a close eye on the job. -
Heres a sc faceplate that might help you out a bit with the cut out for the lense with a shot of a screen used bucket for reference on the visor line. You have plenty of material left on the visor to get the proper cut.
-
As long as it appears as it does on screen. You'll be fine.
-
They are work in progress. He's not done with them yet.
-
Yes! You got it now!
-
I dont really a problem with the patches. They could be a little wider and rounder towards the bottom. The thigh straps need to brought up they are a little low. They should be mid thigh.

Attaching headband in helmet
Stroker replied to Elephant Knight's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
Those cheap thin liners are a nightmare in a helmet. I'd go with one like I have or one that's super close. -

My liner is held in place by rivets. I've seen troopers use glue. You could glue the top of the head band and maybe the sides. I wouldn't want to try and use rivets on a printed helmet. This is the only picture I have on my phone at the moment. -
