Look what I just got in the mail I asked Heavy from BSN here if her father could make me one, first time he made the DC-15S, looks good... I just need to touch it up with some paint for detail. Now I'm just waiting on Mr.WC to finish my DC-15A I know we don't require a weapon but I don't see the point of walking around unprotected (Hopefully I will have my armour finished by aug so I can wear it to Fan-Expo 2013 in Toronto, I'm going to be up there on curse at that time)

There's the secrete answer to the question Ive been asking for so long Well I'm more at the start of build then the middle and will have a good lull at some point as well (leaving home for another 9 month course) I'm doing most of the stuff that hasn't been brought up for change first that way when I do come back to finish I won't have to redo things.

Worked on my BDU tunic today, 99% finished top&bottoms... - going to shorten arms and legs - still need to add velcro closures so they can be more form fitting (might solve some issues with fabric bunching up as putting on boots/gloves) - I still need a good trooper from overseas to pick up an "oatmeal" suede riding patch... Here's where I'm at now: - added Velcro to close the tunic and neck - got "guilted into" redoing my thigh pockets (now that I'm home and have a sewing machine) - added a neckline flap: - 99% finished product:

Ok so here the 99% finished BDU tunic... I took the collar and folded it inwards by a lil less then half, then sewed it together... Added some ribbed stitching for ridgedness: Then added a Chinese style closer flap to go across the throat: Here's the finished look: Hope this is "tight" enough for you guys LoL

Well that's gonna make it easier to find! Hmm I thought it was elastic... I'm going out tomorrow for more supplies.

Good thing about Velcro is that it can go tighter or looser. It can be much more form fitting, but I don't like things so tight around the neck.

Been working on my soft parts all day: -Redid my BDU pants pouches; -Almost finished my BDU tunic; -Finished my tan Cadpat tunic, still needs to be dyed; -Started on my Cummerbund, still need to find the proper elastic strips though

Ok so here's the deal, I decided before working on my DMP's I would take a stab at my tan CadPat first, just so I wouldn't mess up the DMP's... So take this for what it is, just referance at this point. I took a bottom pocket from the tunic and made an triangular flap to go across the front like a mandarin collar... It closes with a simple Velcro: Closed And finally to show its good and high enough, a pic with the helmet... Anyways hope someone finds this useful

Even though I can only work on this for an hour or two a day I've gotten a lot down with the helmet... I noticed the visor was pulled a little more on the left side so I trimmed it down, had some issues along the way but here is everything cut out Oh and it JUST fits on my head... LoL, I've trimmed the hole as much as possible an it still scraps the sides of my head when I put it on

Yeah this kit came with everything I think I'll need. It's the mastercraft 1.5 amp, 5K-35K rpm.

Don't forget your FIRST base coat is a "as dark as possible grey primer" Then you do you chrome (or Silver if you will)

Omg... That's it, my whole camo pattern is only going to be the outlines of females from the SW's universe!! I like it man, I hope to try and find it in your armour after your finished

Holy cr@p Matt, brainstorming away are ya? LoL I like your ideas man, it seems like a perfect compromise to everything to please most people. What is this buckel your mentioning the gloves for the 41-elite? Just for clarification we are keeping the cummerbund grey grey? (Didn't see it in your 41-elite requirements so I take that as being the same as the basic level) I'd love to see a finished CRL up soon, and if not finished at least have some picture up for the basic level (most of you guys already have perfectly good armour to put in for reference pictures)

LoL, I love that pic Matt I like the idea of having 2 levels, but what needs to be determined, not by voters choice but by how the other clones chose to have their CRL's ranked. That way we can backup with reasons why one is the basic level and the other is the elite. There must have been reasons, and as you said the same rules should apply to all.

"41st Elite" sounds like a perfect tag for the higher status.

I think we should be basing it off of the other clones and how they determine their elite status troopers. That's just my opinion but if we base it off of the other clones then we don't run into "actual prop" problems because there are none.

So is that how most CRL's for elite status are? Mainly 3d renders and before screen productions?

Wow, i think your crackin up bud, Why is it when I read your posts it only seems your trying to talk down to people. You don't really know how to get people in your corner do you? As for my inconsistent screen grabs I do apologise for the crappy quality. I'm sorry I took time to at least get a few screen grabs since people were complaining about the ratio of 3d renders to screen grabs. I can't seem I find a true Bly ray version online, I'll have to run to the store and get a Blu-Ray copy but in the meantime it would be great if anybody else could get some screen grabs up... Maybe some Bly Ray quality that has been mentioned? I'm sorry I don't even know what your going on about in para 3,4,&5 you'll have to clarify that for me. As for para 6 I havent dismissed anything, you didnt want to clarify if this was a true screen grab or not... but if you go off that pic then the left arm inside greb would be white. I've been saying base TAN for nearly everything... Including the cummerbund.
