I am kind of turned away from the camera but it isn't resting perfectly. I kind of rushed putting everything on, that's why my bund and cod aren't resting properly either. Thanks chopper, a lot of the tips came from you btw haha And I actually didn't reshape the chest. With all of the layers of the scout underneath it filled out the chest nicely. Hello all, just wanted to post a wip pic of my nearly finished scout. Just need to make the boots and my detanator. I'm currently waiting on my base boots from Gio and the wire and tube for my detanator. I think I may need to pull my bund up a bit and pull my cod down a little as well. I also wanted to thank everyone for all of the build threads they post on here and all the tips you guys give. I've applied so many to my build and it's made life so easy.Any feedback or questions would be appreciated on my build so far. Thanks for the input chopper, the goal is to reach lancer so I'm trying to get as close as possible, even if that means paying a little more so I don't gotta do it again.

I know I would have to paint that,what I am assuming is a magnet,black but I haven't come across too many. A lot of the printed ones are based off the Kenner or the newer nerf pistol since they have the molded trigger..

I unfortunately don't have my own printer. I just have been noticing quite a few different online sellers printing them. Most of them looked a little off to me but was looking to get a second more expert opinion.

One of the last things I need to pick up is the pistol, all I've got right now is the old Kenner one and I need something a little more accurate. It seems like I unfortunately missed out on the dvh blasters,the RS pistol,and praetorian hasn't seemed active in quite a long time. Are any of the 3d blasters good?

Like stated, you'll have to do modifications in order for things to be placed properly on your body but the overall fit of the goods is great. I had to sew my cod to the vest and Velcro to the vest to hold my bun,but nothing too crazy

I recently ordered the whole set of soft goods from him and they all fit great and look just as good. Shipping took a little while but it wasn't the worst wait. Definitely worth it and Christian is a great guy

Hey thanks again Chopper, you're always great help. I was looking at the crowprops base boots for awhile and my one concern is the little rubber trim above the sole before it meets with the toe. Is that trim thick enough to show through vinyl and get that ugly uneven toe strip? I just don't like how the toe strip turned out on his already assembled boots.

Much appreciated to both of you that gives me something to think about. I may just have to try again at making a pair instead of trying to take the easy way out haha

Hey all, I've been working on my scout and I'm getting fairly close to finishing things up. One of the last things I need to purchase are the boots. For my first set of armor I made a pair of boots, but they are no where near the level to reach lancer and I just don't have the sewing skills to do so. Are the IB boots approvable for lancer or does anyone sell lancer level boots? Much help appreciated

Wow that is a really great idea I never would have thought of that. I was going to try adding Velcro to the cod and belt to help but I really like that idea. I may have to try that for my build as well

Hello everyone, I recently received my armor kit from RS props and the kit included a resin cast of the detanator tube as opposed to an actual tube and wire. I'm looking for the type of wire and tube typically used for the detanator. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for the input retro, it's greatly appreciated. I've been reading through a lot of the newer threads and posts on here to help guide me towards lancer and it's been much help. I've got quite a bit of work to do on my suit but I'm excited
