  1. That brown looks great! Makes me want to strip mine and start the painting over!
  2. I was going to say the same, that the paint is too glossy. It needs to be dull. You may be able to use a Matt finish clear coat to dull it up a bit. Also you need some weathering on it as well. The green looks a bit too green, but it may be because it is glossy.
  3. Tell that to the wife and kids! Tim, bring it over one weekend and I'll help if you want.
  4. You may be right! Crazy thing is I've only worn the kashyyyk once since I finished my build! Dang real life getting in the way!
  5. Wow! Great job! I had to aggravate with 1000 questions with my build!
  6. Looking good bro!
  7. Looking good brother! Been MIA for a bit
  8. Looks like mine when I was at that point! Looks great!
  9. Ok, I lied, saw a couple other things. Your biceps should be rotated so the large part is on the back of your arm. Also, your knees seem to droop a bit. I'm actually adding Velcro to my undersuit to keep them in place. It will be worse when you are walking a bit, and they will eventually be down your leg.
  10. Now thats sharp! Looking very good. The only issues I see is that my GML would not allow the woodland camo pouches and the drop pouches had to have a more grey color. Others have been fine without these fixes, but seems to just my GML's preference, so I think you will be fine. The straps in the shins seem a bit too tan for my taste, but that is just my preference. The one thing I would suggest is to weather the gloves. They stand out compared to the weathered armor. Looking good though, an you shouldn't have any issues man.
  11. It'll show up in the mustang! However, I would not wish the curse of the tusken upon you!
  12. That's how I did mine. You just don't want to get too close to have a black blob. I just misted here and there for the result I was looking for. The clear wont be a problem. My tusken I used rit in water and spray bottle. Have a good effect, but don't plan on using it too much anymore since I now have this rig. Can't see a dang thing in the tusken!
  13. Yep, I was told to have grey, which is what I put on mine!
  14. What's the issues? Anything need help on?
  15. Looking sharp bro! The brown looks a little red, but most likely just the flash or the lighting. The helmet won't be bad. Just remember to paint and weather before you put in the lens, or at least cover it up before you paint!
  16. Looking great man! Did you cover the cod in fabric?
  17. I put the buckle on with zap-a-gap, and has held pretty well.
  18. Been there!!!! You really have very little to go. Like I said, the drop pouches, our GML wants them grey, so a quick mist of white and primer will do it. Light mist though, cause a little goes a long way. I wouldn't worry about the camo pattern either.
  19. Don't put in lens before you weather the helmet or spray te clear!!!! Made that mistake, thankfully just on the old lens, and ended up having clear and black all over it. No one has accused me of being terribly bright.
  20. I pretty much did the inverse of you Allan. Ill put up a pic later, but here is what I did for the armor. Joann's had a sale on fleece, camo at that, and I sewed individual bags for the armor so they would not scratch one another.
  21. Looking good bro. Don't forget the discs for the visor! How are you planning on doing the lines under the eyes?
  22. Nice!!!!! Looks great Tim!
  23. Agreed, 1/32 is more along the line of what I cut
  24. You really don't like much now with being done. You can always grab the stenciles I made if you want. I've been working in a wookie bag all day for Brandon. The one you resewed for him got rejected by the Legion. Said it was too small and too light. That's what he gets from getting the bag from Tim! But your sewing job was fantastic. Mine did not come out nearly as well.
  25. Yeah that's a great idea with the floor mats. I was going to buy an egg crate for the bed and cut it up for the lining but the mats sounds better. I have the crate and considering doing two strips down the top of camo. I may may some bags out of towels for the armor pieces since I've noticed some minor scratches on the armor due to them knocking against each other.
