did you end up going full shadow, or the tinted version you were talking about?
-
Hello and Goodluck. It is cool that you want to continue to help others around you join.
-
Here is reference for the helmet back. You basically want to mirror the slots, in relation to the squarish vents above them. Here is the fish hook thing,
-
That would be an awesome pic. Seeing as you have to strap yourself into the parachute, I feel like the only part that would give you issues would be the helmet. The landing might be a problem too. Where are the worst pressure spots when you open chute?
-
Mine seem to stand up pretty well on their own, now they they are appropriately attached and have the velcro closure. I did add the extra velcro on the inside to help support the holster, but nothing more than that.
-
How will you cut the top sections out?
-
I commend you for tackling a remodeling job. I think the helmet looks good, but its kind of blurry.
-
oooh those closures. I agree there. Will get them fixed.
-
the velcro on the cummerbund is the 2" lancer spec, but I will look into the closure. The buttflap actually touches surface that I am sitting on. Is that long enough?
-
the first placement of the bone was weird. I think the second one is good. I think the boot looks good. Seems extraordinarily tall, but otherwise good.
-
Here you go
-
does anybody ever take the CRL up on 'number of stripes from 1 to 6'? :D Looks good so far,
-
oh LOL I saw the sticker, but didn't spend the time trying to read it
-
My nose vents?!, gee that is a rather personal question. Will do as soon as I can
-
I am impressed. The way you had it weathered before, i thought would never come out. Very nice
-
dang it. I wish I had known about that sooner.
-
I am 5'10 and I ended up using about a paper size for the mudflap, and about a paper size for each side of the riding patch. So roughly three 8.5" x 11" pieces I guess.
-
what are the blacks pieces? they look like snowtrooper armor bits or something
-
if its a glue like e6000 you should be able use a hobby knife to possibly split the seam. If it was a cement or something, life will be considerably more difficult
-
uhm if its the part I am thinking you are talking about its the decal that came with the sc kit.
-
the bolt isn't flush and the visor isn't flush with the faceplate. Those issues? Did you glue it yet?
-
Understood. For the record, I only glued my faceplate and visor along the top edge and temple area. The bottom part is still open.
-
I got mine all together. Helmet hole is the size of the bolt the other two are the size of the square
-
ok everyone. Round 2. The approval armor is done. Can I shoot for an ID?
-
i wouldn't go with the rustler advantage as the extra stitching on the toe box will show up through the vinyl. 120 isnt worth it for boots. mine are from target and they work wonderfully. Only 30 or 40 for price. The high top ones might be a little harder to get in and out of. Not sure on that
