its offical - CB4365 reporting for duty sir!! No17 !!! we is growing! Nate -
hey mate - yeah Angelos kit was done pre-high res pics. He was affectionately known as the swamp trooper. you got the card from Mr Bungle I suppose? I have colour matched it a while ago for European trooper to a dulux colour as well, its gooseberry fool shade 4 over here http://www.icipaints...erry_fool_4.jpg but your colour match is very close - should be fine!! when you first put it on it looks real pale, but done worry, as you weather it up and the camo goes on, the contrast begins to bring out the green more

yeah its fine the smudged effect is quite important though - I used the same exact combo as suggested by Mr Bungle. White on some, Grey on others, and black misting on all of em as you can see, some of the pouches are almost completely obscured by the white/grey with camo just peaking through Nate -

Yeah tom, thats a hang over from my tb set up. Not sure it necessary, but does stop the bell from riding up too much. They arent that noticeable, pic was taken w flash to show up the camo. Might also suggest to debbi abt using black shoulder straps for the cummerbund. dan, u here too?? Lol, not thinking of going kashyyyk too are yer? The knee and shins are mr bungles. Hell, I am covered from head to toe in my bungles product. (that sounds so wrong). Lsfu cummerbund. cheers john - appreciat ti, I know you u did one of the 1st few Kashyyysks in the UK! How are you man? Nate -

getting there was sitting down today thinking there must be a better way of tackling the boot. I was thinking plastic? nah. Resin? maybe, but how to stick it on. Stick it with E6000? Wait a minute - why not build it up WITH E6000!!!! should work with any boot and painted -
A decent alternative for Kashyyyk boots?
Heatshock replied to darren1970's topic in Kashyyyk Trooper Soft Parts
vinyl extension like on clone boots or TB boots? could still work! -
A decent alternative for Kashyyyk boots?
Heatshock replied to darren1970's topic in Kashyyyk Trooper Soft Parts
like all boots - there are short coming; but that would be true for anything less than a KC best not to concentrate on the bad points; so good points: (1) threads look nice and chunky (2) slip on (3) cheap will be interested to see how it pans out D. Nate -

what i have learnt over the years - is that you are often your own worse critic little and often is a good way foward. also patience is very importance - esp.ly with our crappy weather. I let the layers dry nice and complete before the next, soemtimes resisting the need to rush the next layer I also lacquered up my helmet - after that layer I left it a good 3 weeks before even thinking of polishing it. In fact, I just buffed mine up instead of polished small tip - if you do go with the lacquer layer, do that before you paint on the grey - the gloss of No5 Humbrol doesnt react well with lacquer and ripples. The Humbrol matt black in the snout doesnt do that though. heres my modded Rubies and with MC armour

kenneth coles & bed stu's come the closest for a time GBX journeymen did it for most I myself haveposted 2 options in the relevant section - but they are UK based stores IMHO- those walmart mart are prob good enough seeing how some KTs have passed clearance with similiar lloking boots. fr a personal choice poitn of view though - I would wait, there a guy on CT.net that has already done a great clone adn animted clone boot for a reasonable price. His team is currently working on a KST/GM boot. look up crow62 over there Nate
