Yes, you can remove the transfer immediately.

Don't confuse with fiberglass pieces. Fiberglass is the material used on the inner side. Exterior is resin or Gelcoat. You can apply any class of mass, bondo and paints over there. If you want erase this mark, only need apply a extra fine mass. "Fast Mass" translated from spanish. Now if it need repair. Open the lines with a dremmel disc, apply bondo. Better if you remove the paint before apply the bondo.

If I understand, the backing paper is the transfer system. It comes in paper, transparent or colors sheets.

I think you must close the pockets. The suede patterns looks good.

You must make the circunference hole with a dremel tool...

Black vinyl nose detail. How to add.
cucblack replied to cucblack's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
May be these decal not fit good in others helmets. But if any one want it, contact me. -
Hi Guys, Here some reference pics to how to add the black vinyl nose detail included with my helmet. Really easy, faster and looks great. My personal opinion! This is my way to make this detail. Others make it hand paint. While more options, better. I hope this help!!! Before add the decal, paint the bottom corner black with a small brush. Cut the edges with a knife to get the square shape.

Looks really good. EFX make great replicas and I think it will be a other good replica too.

Great Job!!! Maybe need adjust more the cummerbund elastic strap, cod area. Other suggestion. You are a tall guy and the helmet it is a little high respect the shoulders. You can remove or change the inner foam in the helmet, upper side, and down the helmet more closest to your shoulders. I hope can understand, my English is not the best. Other solution is get a cb/cuc Helmet, jajajaja joke. Your Helmet looks great!

Biker Scout Helmet visor and how it originally worked
cucblack replied to lonewolf's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
I saw this details in the original helmet pics. But not so detailed like now. Thanks for the info. I'll try it in my helmet. -
I made my gloves without liner and padding and adjusted. Fits like a pilot gloves. Really comfortable and no lost the sensitivity when you take things.
-
Ear holes drilled looks better, more real and give ventilation.

Foam is good. But looks too square. Plastics bags. Easy to find, in your house. And looks like Boba Fett pouches.

I heard the same. His stormtrooper helmet could be a AP recast. About the Biker lid, I'm not sure.

Maybe the surface when you are applying the silicone is dirty, clean it. Also when you apply the hot glue you need wait at least 2-3 minutes pressuring the lenses. And apply a second coat to assure the lenses. -

Are too high respect the indents. They should be at the same level or closest. And I'm agree with chef respect the barcode decals are in the right place. The last 9 bars decals looks like are not in a straigh line, are in a curve ascendant. Next time apply first from the indents side, and close to the line, but not in the same line, because are a little low. Anyway helmet looks good and you can fix this detail in the future.
