update........ removed all the pockets and un-needed bits from the camo and gave them 'stage 1' of the dyeing proccess ( I used Dylon Woodland Brown ). Next to dye them black to darken the pattern a bit more. Also did some work on a possible pair of boots ( I've put a thread in the Boots forum for comments ). Darren

Bought a 'possible' pair of donor boots. Dremmelled out the arch and changed the shape of the tread. Then painted the boots white with tan soles. Comments guys? Darren

Cheers Nathan. I've found a pair of GBX shoes on ebay with the same sole type as Tom's GBX2 boots, but there is just too much detail on the sides. Keep on lookin' On a positive note, I've started pulling apart the camo's ( removing pockets etc. ). Darren

What make are they Nathan, I'll try to get hold of a pair?

It was more the shape of the sole that I was thinkin of. It has that nice squared off 'space' at the arch.

Hi guys. Well I finally made a small start towards my planned Kashyyk trooper. A fellow teacher ( and Royal Marine Reserve ) gave me a full set of British Desert DPM camo's. As it says in the title, this is gonna be a slow W.I.P. as I'm still finishing my 3rd clone build and, although my wife is very understanding, I'd better leave a 'little' time before starting the next Hopefully after Christmas I can catch MB's next run of armour and begin the build properly. Until then it's time to dye some fabric Darren
