Yeah, I'll cover them with some fabric ( gotta get some for the cod anyway ).

Small updates

Donor gloves arrived. UK military Webtex 95 pattern gloves. As you can see I've cut off the adjustable wrist strap off one of em ( the other will be off in a minute ).

Also got the first of the bells done and have added a foam knee pad to give it the 'lift' off the shoulder.

Made a start on the 'dreaded' gloves ;) .

Thanks to a lot of help from my mum and my wife we've got the brown leatherette gauntlets made, Acrylickhan's lovely greblies fitted and the gauntlet attached to the donor gloves.

Next job is the pads/straps for the back of the hand.

Added the back / knuckle pad and the strap.

I used white vinyl so I weathered it with some light tan acrylic to match the Acrylikhan greebs. The hand pads are padded with a layer of craft foam.

Hi guys.

Decided not to let certain things get to me and tonight I picked up ( and started work on ) the left bicep, so I guess the build is back on.

Thanks for the words of encouragement.

PS. I'm now the XO of Clonetroopers Detachment :)

Hey Darren!

Great to see you back in action! B)

Congrats on the XO of the Clonetroopers detatchment. I am also a member of that particular detatchment.

Cod piece looks good. And, well......that didn't sound right either!

Keep going and cheers to you!!

Cleaned up and smoothed down the lovely set of strofmos ammo boxes I've got ready for covering with fabric.

Decided that it would be easier to cover them in fabric if the flap detail was added later, so I filed it off, covered it with fabric then added a seperate flap and box top section. A bit of camo and viola....!

Nathan did give me some of the camo fabric that MrBungle gave him, but there wasn't enough left for the whole set, so I decided to paint them all ( thanks all the same Nath 8) ).

more to come tomorrow......
